Great stick at a great price! The .280's rarely come up for sale. I have a Mark V Accumark in 280, love it, but I wish I would have bought the ultralight instead.

Never heard of it.

You have a choice of weatherby or winchester ammo in weatherby guns. This is a low production 280 and do not come up very often.

I think he's trying to say is that the cartridge you mean is 280 Remington. To my knowledge there is no such animal as a 280 Winchester, (although Winchester more than likely sold factory ammunition for the 280 Remington.)

Have the twin to this rifle and it is pure heaven to pack. Took a cow elk this year with it stoked with 150 grain TTSX's.

Loaned mine to a plastic surgeon for a hunt in Canada. After hunt, he gave me a generous check for the rifle and scope rather than return it. I replaced it with same model in 300WM. I still miss the .280. It is a really nice rifle. Good luck on the sale.

Just heads up on what is included. two talley light weight rings and bases[30mm and 1inch] and one leupold 30mm medium set.
105 rounds of ammo along with empty cases. that's over 250.00 in extras. This might support my asking price of 1150 plus shipping. but shoot me something. gun the way it sits in picture weighs 6lb.4 oz.

I have this exact rifle in the grey stock and stainless barrel...it's the last gun that'll ever leave my collection. These are rare, so someone buy it!
