I bought this rifle last year with the intention of killing groundhogs with it this year. I added a Midwest Industries 0 MOA rail to it and mounted an extra Vortex 6.5-20x44 Viper I had laying around. That's as far as I've made it with the rifle and I don't see that changing any time soon. We lost 2,000 acres of hunting due to the owner passing away and another 1,000 acre dairy farm because they decided to lease it, so I'm out of places to hunt groundhogs.

The rifle is in excellent condition and does not have a melted recoil pad common with these rifles.

I have the factory box and can sell the rifle alone for $785 shipped, or with the rail for an extra $50 or add the Vortex and rings for an additional $300.

I’m amazed this is still available if it is. I have a couple LVSF rifles and they are the nicest walking varminters. Great specimen here. I paid more than this for my .223.

Just before this rifle came up on here, I bought a Model 700 XCR Compact Tactical in 223. Nice rifle, but I would prefer the LVSF. I already have a couple of other 223 bolt rifles, so I cannot justify another. Now, if someone wanted the Compact Tactical, I'd be in the market.....

IMO......the LVSF was one of the best Model 700's ever made.

Great rifles, I have one in 22-250. Remington doesn’t make rifles like this anymore.
