500 is a steal for that rifle.

It came with the low mount scope, The original owner must have removed it to make room. Personally, if I were keeping it, it would be wearing a peep sight.

Thanks for the comments guys, it was a lot of fun and even considered giving it as a gift because the handle material on the knife and the ebony tip and grip are the same very unique material. Don’t know anyone that appreciates these guns like I do so hopefully it finds a good home on here.

Duracoat, no rear sight, 13.5 LOP and bore is good.

What kind of scope came with it? Maybe I just missed that part. Whatever it is, this is a great deal.

Is there a rear sight on it? I can’t tell from the pics. How is the bore? Any function issues?

Ha Ha Ha, happy to be of service. :-) I gave y'all plenty of time to pull the trigger on what appears to be a really good deal. No collector value of course but, a cool rifle in its own right. And, the 300 Savage is a swell cartridge.

I doubt we will ever see new Savage 99s made. There's still a lot of Savage 99s available at good prices. I doubt that will last much longer either.
