Jordan, I don't disbelieve you, but you must have seen the best PST's that have ever been made. I see three to four different ones a month and they all have the same issues. They all fail. Usually they fail right out of the box on a tall target test. They all have glass that is... Ehhh. Their owners usually love then when they first get them and despise them by the end of the first day.
Have personally had two Razor HD's catoatraphically fail in 6 months.... 4 in the last year.
I have owned and/or played with several different models of PST, as well as VX3's, and the PST's have all had at least VX3 image quality, some better. It's crazy that you see that many PST's fail. The one that I've put through the ringer the most had some of the most accurate adjustments I've seen in a scope (less than 0.5% error), and held up to a lot of dialing while always tracking correctly and RTZ properly. That included some abuse, as well. I ended up sending that PST back because of a spec on an internal lens, and took the opportunity to upgrade to the Razor at the same time. But that scope never failed. The other PST's didn't fail, either, but they also didn't see as much or as hard use as the first.
Which model were the Razors that failed on you in the last year? I'm guessing 1-6, mostly?
