Just thought I would try the picture posting bit
4-30 Bushnell on my Tikka 260

OK that didn't work out as planned

Where'd you get them? I'm interested in set to mount a SWFA 3-9x on my Tikka.
Here is mine, I will have to buy a rifle for them. About $56 from an Ebay seller in GB, made in the UK. Appreciate the information on them as the design is exactly what I think is appropriate.

Now that's a loony's loony! I have heard of people buying a rifle since they have the loading dies or a bunch of brass but never because they have the scope rings already! grin

On a serious note. How do they look? Good quality? weight?
Mine came in on wed. Pick up my Tikka tomorrow afternoon from my ffl.
These are good looking rings for a Tikka. Wish I saw them a couple months ago. Ebay link.

Are these TO84 the low version?

I'd like a clamp on mount like this with the recoil pin in a horizontal ring. I don't like vertical rings. Any other more readily available offerings to consider?

Those I pictured are indeed the TO84, low 30MM. I'd prefer a star drive over the allen but otherwise they seem perfectly fine and utilitarian. 3.5oz on the postal scale.

The link provided by WYcoyote is the Ebay seller I got them from. Perfect transaction, 100% recommend.

Thanks to both of you. They aren't the best looking mounts but exactly what I looking for.

Castle Rock, your scope is mounted about as close to the barrel as I would like. Is that a 50mm scope you have mounted in the picture?
Sorry I didn't reply to your question
Scope is a 4-30x50bushnell that I use for load development
Usually it wears a 3-9ss
tag........good looking rings.
Another try

Couple things going on there. One, the http:// shouldn't be in there. Two, the address you're putting between the image tags is just for the Image Gallery you created, not the individual images. Once you open your Image Gallery, you then need to click on whatever picture you want to show so it opens a new larger window of the picture. Then, right click on the large picture, copy the image location, and paste it into the insert image link.

Thanks very much for that, I'm using an Ipad which I think may be the issue, but prolly not
Could be. I know when RickBin started the Image Gallery, he was posting pics from an iPad so it can be done. But I don't know how to help with that.

Thanks for your help, got it now
I like those rings very much.
Does Talley make a Tikka mount??
Well, yes but the use inferior screws to mount it. Not clamping force as the Sportsmatch.
The Sportsmatch rings are nice. I wish I would have known about them sooner.
They have been popular in Europe for years and years and years.. Mostly on air rifles.. smile

However they also made the original mounts for the Accuracy International sniper rifles.

Looks good Castle Rock. I'm putting a SS 3-9 on my T3 270. What's that rifle package as pictured weigh? I'm guessing 7 3/4 lbs?
I don't know what it weighs but it balances nicely
Good looking rig Castle. I really like those rings.

Yeah, me too.
Makes for a very multinational shootin' iron.
Prolly more than you would imagine, it is midsummer here now, going to be a hundred in the shade tomorrow.
Any updates on lightweight mounts for the T3?
