If they're just another metoo contracted Chinascope I would have no interest. COO rhymes with China?

So they are the tripod company that has expanded to optics? Again no.

Hawke has been around for years, UK especially... Athlon is interesting. Another leap of faith is not in my future but others may. I think robust and proven is what's interesting.
I have a couple pair of their binoculars and consider them to be a good value for the price.
Have no experience with the rifle scopes, but would assume they may be worth a try to assess the mechanical aspects.
But new optics tend to take a beating here.
My brother bought the Endeavor Spotting scope, it is terrible.

My Hawke cheap azz range spotter smokes it .

That said no more China optics for me.

The govt subsidizes the abortion industry why can't we petition the White House to subsidize an American scope maker that'll send all these Chinese fakers packing?

Hell yeah...
Doug, seems to me that the easier market for that brand would appreciate 1" rings more
I can't really see what they bring to the party.

I had looked hard at that one, as they were being deeply discounted. I'm kinda glad I begged-off.

You were lucky. Very Average Spotting scope
I know that F&S is far from the gospel but this article makes for some product knowledge reading. Vanguards been around a while. Some of their Binoculars seem to be competitive. No, they are far from being THE go to brand. Just thinking they may have a few products worth offering.
Maybe Neil and Scotty could run them through some tests at the local range? whistle
Uuhhh…..that article listed a Nightforce ATACR behind the aforementioned Vanguard and Leupold. I.

That's all I have to say about that.

There is not much to say it left me speechless

Glad I didn't read that, I mighta said something smartass'd.
Did a bit of snooping. Vanguard has been in business for 30 years; does all their engineering and manufacture in house in Myanmar. Appears scopes are a newish endeavor for them. Reviews seem scarce and mixed.

In general, I'm suspicious of "feature rich" stuff at moderate prices. That said, if Doug looks at them and says they appear okay, I might take a swing at one, but I'm not in the market now, and there are a number of items that have my attention and have a track record.

Cabelas, Gander (in PA), Amazon, and OpticsPlanet carry some of their stuff.
A rifle scope made in China is an easy pass
Looky looky⬆️. Not China, Myanmar, aka Burma to us geezers.

My understanding is that they do not OEM the manufacturing out as they own their own factory which gives them total quality control ability
Pretty good documentary on the Burma Road construction during WW2 on Amazon or Netflix . Ain't nothing a bunch of skinny jean wearing Xgender creampuffs would pull off.

Be interesting if you'd post on Korean hunting opportunities sometime, if that's even a thing now. I've seen it depicted in movies about the period of Japanese occupation and other, earlier times.

I'm only in Korea for another 6 months. I haven't even worried about looking into the hunting or shooting in Korea.

I came close on their deer when I was working out of Samsung's ship yard.
I have their ED 10x42 binos. which are a match for more touted glass such as Leupold in the same price range. Have done the comparisons with Euro glass too and I would say that a lot of people wouldn't be able to pick the difference.
They certainly are not ordinary or 2nd class.
The Endeavor binos have always been very, very good as NZ says.

I have the Endeavor ED II binos and they're very good for the price. Have no experience with their scopes.
I took a look at some of the listed models. Heavy, so maybe built well? Fairly longish objective bells and short mounting areas, sorta. Good looking reticles. Satin, rather than a dull matte finish may look great on polished blue rifles. Prices, high enough I wouldn't experiment with the unknown. Sent an email to Vanguard and will post up the results if any. Oh, Hoya glass, that should be good chit man.
Got a response via email. Indeed products manufactured in Myanmar. Riflescopes, bins, and spotters have a lifetime warranty, though they did not address question on transferable nature of warranty..... CS located in Whitmore Lake Michigan. 800-875-3322
