What has been your experience with Swift Break Away Solids on Cape and Elephant?
Had the same problem trying to gather info on Woodleigh cup point solids as loaded by Federal for my 2017 elephant hunt. No responses here on the "Fire. Couldn't find any anyway. My PH said the Woodleigh cup points were awesome in his experience. No info on Swifts. I erred on the side of caution and used "old reilable" Barnes monolithic solids and TSX in the place of softs.

Use CEB's

+1. I used the 570 gn CEB BBW #13 in 500 NE 3” on an elephant. Several feet of penetration on a frontal brain shot. The recovered bullet was intact except for the rifling impression. Very accurate and impressive performance. I decided on the CEBs after quite a bit of load development using them and the Barnes Banded Solids, based on consistency and slightly higher velocities with same powder charges without apparent pressure differences.

When I return to Zim after tuskless next year I’ll use the 400 gn 0.423” CEB BBW#13s in a 404 Jeffery.
