One of the best investments a guy can make is in a better camera. Great images. Makes me want to go.
Tell us more about rifles used, calibers and insights about hunting there.
Believe it or not, this was taken with my phone. It has two Leica cameras, and it outperforms my Nikon SLR any day of the week.
This hunter used my .300Win Mag, which is suppressed. In the Eastern Cape, a flat shooting calibre is useful, such as a 30-06 with 165gr, or .308Win with 150's. Ranges typically will be between 60 yds - 250yds, as this is generally the distance between the valley faces. Most of the rifles here are suppressed, and everyone that has used them, has only found the experience positive. Saves the ears big time, and reduces the recoil by about 40%.
I'm sure some of the photos will show the rifles with the suppressors.
New images of next hunters will be up tomorrow....
