Please choose your favorite SCOTUS Justice. If you’d like to explain why, please do.
None of the above.

Antonin Scalia, for the modern era. He's the only hunter I've heard of.....since the 1800's??
Clarence Thomas. He’s exactly what every SCJ should be a strict constitutionalist.
C. Thomas
Thomas
Thomas, hands down.

Mine also, for those reasons.
Never have this much consensus on an issue here.
Thomas.
Thomas!
So far Thomas. Hasbeen
What kind of experiment you runnin' Rick?
Clarence Thomas. Shows how racist the 'fire is...lol
Thomas. Second is Kavanaugh cause he likes beer.
Kavanaugh - he is going to outlive Thomas by a great bit.

He also has the same size chip from the confirmation that will hopefully fester overtime to show in his rulings.
Ruth Bader Ginsberg because she'll be the next one Trump replaces.
Funny how Neal Gorsuch doesn't have any votes, huh?

I voted for Thomas too.

He took over where Scalia left off.

Yup,
The one that replaces RBG!
Kavanaugh
Cause of the bullschitt he put up during his confirmation.
Even though he says it.
I hope he will never forget it.

Fugging liberal Socialist Democrat scum need ta pay for that schit...

I hope he becomes chief justice someday.....
Clarence Thomas. Rock solid. I think there might have been one opinion I read of his I wasn't quite on board with. Can't remember what it was now. I'd be a liar though if I said I've kept track of every vote.
Thomas of the current crew. Most of the rest could get their necks stretched and not bother me at all.
I voted for C. Thomas also, reluctantly due to his vote on Citizens United case.

I think he missed the mark on that one............Hugely.

Corporations, institutions, anything other than an individual have NO rights, as in First Amendment. They do have privileges though.

My belief is we're in the boat we're in now because of the money being spent in elections, moreso than we'd be than if that case had been ruled differently.

They're all lawyers, no? SO maybe I really don't have a favorite, just some I tolerate better than the others.
Easily Clarence Thomas. I have a bad feeling that Gorsuch is Roberts redux. Hope he proves me wrong.

Bingo
Thomas
He has been consistant---
Bill Cosby
Roberts went to the (sex) island and is being blackmailed.
91% for the Black Man?

WTF is wrong with you people?

Bristoe hasn’t weighed in yet. He’s trying to decide between Thomas and Scalia.
RBG simply because she can make the 'Fire legal brain trust ch_imp out simply by not dying. grin

Lousy bunch of racists here. BWaahahhahaha
Harpo.
Frankly my favorite is becoming Clarence Thomas.
Thomas.

Anita Hill....The pube on a coke can was priceless tv.

😎
Clarence Thomas. Strict Constitutionalist with an amazing life story.
Thomas and I’m coming to believe he’s is a more consistent originalist than Scalia was. If we could clone three more Thomas’s and five Salia’s and put them all on the court it would be as close to a perfect court as I can imagine.
What do I WIN! .....a blue star by my name will suffice...
I clicked on Thomas without peeking ahead, thinking he would just get a couple votes.

Wow.
Buffing Bart. Not just because he's white. Because he didn't fold. Hope he does well.

At first I thought the same and then came to realize how many turn into abject failures. Cannot tie my single vote to an untried, let alone unvetted, phantom. Thomas must be the only true response.

Single vote, like not using a sock puppet? Asking for a friend.

Plus 1
As of now Thomas has 16 times as many votes as the next highest. Don't accuse us of being racists.
I see several posts implying RBG will be the next justice to pass, but Clarence Thomas is no spring chicken. The fate of the nation rests on several razor thin margins. SCOTUS is just one. And unless a justice croaks in the very near future, it would also appear another chicken is being counted prior to hatching. If RBG passed today, could all the RINO's in the Senate be counted on?

Do these names inspire confidence?

Susan Collins
Lisa Murkowski
Mitt Romney
Bump.

Exactly. Give credit where credit is due!

Scalia was my overall favorite. But the man is dead. Thomas now gets my vote.

Is Scalia an Italian name?

Serious. Not sure, just asking. I suppose I could do an internet search.

Damn that was quick. Yes, southern Italy. So - we're soooo not racist here. Blacks and Italians can make fine justices.
RickBin: I favor the ghost of Justice Antonin Scalia over all the "current" crop (I refer to refer to any of them as "Justices"!) seating at the Supreme Court Bench.
Sad.
Hold into the wind
VarmintGuy
Thomas, and all you noodniks who are not commies and are not real fascists will say the same. The flame is in him.
Clarence Thomas is a more Conservative Constitutional Constructionist than Scalia ever was.
Scalia would have had a slight edge, but I have no problem with C. Thomas.
I'll go with Thomas.

RBG soon I hope. smile

One where he gets a lot of conservatives to prove it's content of character, not color of skin, that really matters to us.

You could have run this poll with "If Barack Obama was a staunch conservative, would you have voted for him over Hillary Clinton?" And we'd be somewhere from 85-90% answering with Obama. Probably more like 95%.

Think you're more right than wrong on this.

No question about it.
I see the campfire's trolls are voting.

Huh, I didn't realize I had anything to prove.
NONE of em. I don’t trust ONE, yet.
