.....have never experienced rainfall like we got over night.. Over 9" so far, and it's still coming down. Just got a "flash flood" warning for our area good until noon today. The village is basically isolated Hy 63 is closed both ways. The waterway (part of the Rush River system) below me is - for the first time - so high that it's going OVER the bridge! The tractor repair place north of me is under water. The county has most roads closed due to flooding waters.. I literally can't find a way to get into town. Hy 12, 90th ave., Co Rd J, 60th ave., 50th ave., Co Rd N, Hy 63 at Martel - all are flooded over and closed.. I tried to get a few pics - need to get more.. Using a 70X200 lens because I can't get close enough to use a standard lens..

And more rain's coming over the next 4-6 hours..

The pics above are already showing somewhat less water than was over night.. Most roads show evidence of overflowing water but no water shows right now.. Road shoulders washed out - warning cones everywhere..

Reports on the TC news say residents at some houses on Baldwin's streets are being evacuated... From what I can see, it's possible the majority of the village is under water.. Our in-laws have a house in town - they've had water issues before in their fully-finished basement.. I won't call because I'm betting they're trying to save a few things and don't wanna bother 'em.. Can't pump out the water; where's it gonna go? It's just going to come right back in because it's most likely a lake outside..

Flooding's the worst. Thank God I'm on a hill...
Damn.......just damn. Praying all the people are safe at least.
I bought on a hill, in a non flood area.
Fuggin two tornadoes have passed by though (in recent years).
Thats a lot of water. Stay safe and dry
That will probably move some Asian carp around...
Now that’s terrible. Sorry to hear this.
It just kept raining and raining.. I had no idea we got that much though. You certainly got more than we did. WOW. Stay dry.

Yes, a LOT of water. Stay safe.
Looks like Harvey hit you all.

Thousands of homes were invaded with water; this one didn't have that problem because it went over my driveway and went west!

The lake across the road from my place highest I've ever seen it!

Wow, stay safe Lee !

Sorry to hear of this, may the flooding end soon, with minimal loss of life or injury and property losses! Having much family in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area during the August 2016 flood.....I understand your concerns! memtb
Good luck guys...
Flooding is awful.

Interestingly I just read an article on the future of US Flooding...

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive...lick&module=News&pgtype=Homepage
I think is will stay right here in the state if Misery. Be Well, Rustyzipper.
Just came back from a drive around... The only way to cross Hy 63 is via I-94 or go all the way N to Hy 64E.. Five miles N at the junction of Hy 63 and Co Rd E there's a ton of emergency vehicles.. It seems a car and the people in it are in the water and there's a rescue team trying to save 'em.. Just talked to a friend of mine two miles S and his basement's flooded to the rafters.. I went literally eight miles N, then another seven miles S and there's NO way to get to the highway..

I got stopped by a pickup from Lakes Gas and he was trying to get to Glenwood City to fix an LP issue.. I told him the only way was I-94 to the #28 exit or Co Rd T north to Hy 64E and then south on Co Rd G to get to town...

Nobody's having a good day here today.. Tom's had 600A of hay down since Saturday. I got about 275 chopped before the rain started and we had to quit last night at 8 pm.. Couldn't quite finish the field we were on.. Well, now it'll be at LEAST Wednesday before we even try to start again - and he still has another 120+ to cut.. Damn - this is gonna be a nightmare, especially the soft ground on the new seeding. Chit....
Prayers sent.
Praying for you. I hope it subsides.
Sorry to see that. I hope the recovery will be speedy, but I know it won't be easy.
Jeez, that really sucks for y'all.

9" overnight = 3/4 of our yearly total

30" in 48 hours = 2.5 x our yearly total.

Even though I'm not in a flood zone, anywhere near that kind of rain would have my season creek over the banks and threatening the property.

Hang tough you wet folks.
The carp will be caught in the lower parts of the fields north of hwy 10 and south of 72 !! Stock up ...Night crawlers will be at the base of the alfalfa plants ..by the handful ...errr bucketful...once the water comes down good times back in the 70`s ....
Looks like we will not head to the Mississippi River for some bluegills this week.
What town are you in?

Stay safe! Water sucks! Mother nature still is something that rhymes with clucking runt.

After the 2016 flood, we moved out of the 1000 year flood zone. Be a good neighbor and help with the clean-up. There were three men I had never seen before stopped and helped with the clean-up at my place. It made me vow to help whenever it happens around here. Thank GOD it hasn't happened on such a large scale since.

Stay safe!
Damn Redneck!Gonna take a few days for that to go down.

I hope you and yours stay dry.
St Croix County Sheriff on the news this am said 54 separate roads were closed. Hy63 north from Hy 12 is closed and may be that way for a few days. The water washed out most of a bridge and an elderly man from a town just NE didn't see it in time and his car got swept off and into the flood.. They couldn't get to him in time.. He's gone.. Six other motorists had to be rescued from standing on the roofs of their cars..

And it rained again last night... It's gotta stop at some point..
Lee, I saw your town on the news last night and the man they didn't get out. RIP to him. A horrible, horrible way to go.

My parents place flooded out in Duluth, in 2012 in the flood they had there along the St. Louis River. There are still some things that are not the same from the flood. You can still see many of the landslides that happened, and Hwy 23 is still not repaired like it should be by Jay Cooke State Park.

I'm sorry you're dealing with all of this stuff. If you need a hand, don't hesitate to drop a dime.
Most we had was 33" in one 24 hour span when Tropical Storm Allison came through.

We had 60" during Hurricane Harvey over a three day period.
