i was posting on a thread on facebook and wrote 24hrcampfire.com and facebook tells me i can't post it.
I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday that wanted to do some form 1s and build his own suppressors.

Another younger fellow ask me if I thought ammo prices would be coming back down to normal next week.

No, gun stuff is like a zip tie it only gets tighter it never ever gets looser.

Who needs Face Book ?? And Who Gives a Damn, They don't control you or your life unless you let them, tell them to KISS OFF. Rio7

My question is - why does anybody GAF about FB?
I don’t.......
just posted this thread on there.
It isn't just Facebook.

Take my little weblog-- the link is in my signature line. Six months ago, I could pretty much count on 200 hits a day as a base. If I'd published something new or it was getting on toward deer or turkey season, that might jump to 400-800 hits a day. I'm right now sitting at about 75 hits/day. If I look at the traffic, its mostly people being referred from sites like this or folks who know my site who are going there directly. Google searches to my site have all but disappeared. A year ago better than half the hits were coming from folks Googling something like "What's the best deer rifle?" or "How do you take a Turkey's temperature?" The latter was funny; every year I'd get thousands of hits over Thanksgiving from Japan. Folks over there would find my site and think that question had something to do with cooking. If they read the article, they found a humorous piece with the phrase: "Pick the bird up by the legs, get your boot firmly planted on his neck, and attempt to insert the thermometer under his tail." Sadly I had to ban all traffic from Asia last year, because there were too many hackers. I now have to block everyone except USA, Canada, Australia, GB, Sweden, and The Netherlands.

My surmise is that anything to with anything re Conservative politics, Conservative values, and stuff related to shooting and hunting are being quietly forgotten by Google and unless you're paying for a bump in the listings, you're gone.

A guy from Breitbart was talking about this on Tucker Carlson. Right now, you can't find Breitbart articles on Google unless you preface it with "Breitbart."
Slightly off this topic
My wife points out that standing in line to view a casket seems
to be ok. But they are afraid to stand in line to vote?

Why do people tolerate the BS from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google and all the rest of those places? They are controlling media with the help of all who subscribe.
Facebook matters because while they may not be able to control everyone they can control enough to sway elections.

Agreed in a perfect world unsubscribing would be the key, but there are ways to still use these platforms and sway minds of those who do use it. I use them, but do al I can to avoid their gaining monetary benefit from my use.

For starters use Firefox and install uBlock Origin and Privacy badger. These are must haves. I have not seen a youtube ad in at least a year

A large part of FB is comprised of localized, smaller pages that allow community members to discuss local problems. When you control what people are allowed to post you make it appear that everyone disagrees with you which causes dissenters to remain quiet.

It is not unlike voter suppression.

Whether a person uses the service or not (I do not) it is still a 1st Amendment issue. And it’s dangerous.
Facebook, Twitter, et.alia survives and prospers on the Updike principle of, ‘there’s no act so private that it doesn’t cry out for applause’.

People just love to run their mouths, mostly saying, ‘look at me’. Period.

That’s what it’s best known for and certainly how it got it’s start but in 2020 it’s a bit more complex than that.

Faceberg, JewTube, etc all gain indirectly from your page hits whether you block ads or not. They typically tie their ad rates to traffic so the more visitors the higher their base rates.

The best move, when possible, is to use an archiving service to share links. That way the target gets only 2 hits, one when you first visit the link and one when the archive does (unless someone archived it before you). This is preferable since it saves subsequent hits by each person who follows your link, reducing the overall shekels the enemy is able to accumulate.
Not going to ban me.because I've never been there or would even consider going there. fugg em don't have anytime for PC asswipes.

I understand that.

Still, people haven’t changed giving broader opportunities to expand on that basis adding more complexities.

I don’t use the mentioned medias. No one can deny their power and effectiveness to “mold” ideas and concepts.
We use FB for our vacation rentals.....the FREE part only, I get constant messages about how I can 'boost' my info out there for the small fee of.......
Not gonna happen!
I can't get back on fakebook. Many places like churches don't have an up dated website, but facebook is up to date.

Because 1.7 BILLION use it.

That is BILLION with a B.

That's a [bleep] of folks for those who have problems with big numbers. That is 1.7 billion people that exchange information instantaneously. FB and Twitter now drives the MSM. If you read any of the NY Times firing of their Op Ed Chief, you will see that she called out the Times staff for being manipulated by Social Media.

So while you might not care to have a presence on FB, it is a major force/influence in world right now.

Haven't you read about "reformed hunters"?

Lol.
Since the advent of Tinder, Bumble, etc FB lost a lot of its appeal... for me at least.
I've never joined FB. I am disgusted by the men I work with that are consumed by it. They look at it every chance they get oblivious to anything else.
a lot of good hunting, shooting and fishing pages there. just joined a swordfishing page, we want to fish for them but have little experience. the people on that page are more than happy to help us.

Good idea.

But I wonder if we could go a step further in protecting ourselves by banning some additional demographic, possibly one with an ethnic connection to Faceberg? Not just from this site mind, but the country.

My wife has been “silenced” several times......they can’t abide with a “politically incorrect” female! memtb

Shutdown Facebook and half of the world would go into withdrawals. The other half would be totally lost.
I already banned THEM
never had facebook because I used to be a missions minister and was overseas a lot and China searches facebook and anything they can to find out about people entering their country. Many have been turned away at point of entry because of things on their facebook about going on a mission trip or all kinds of stuff.

my wife has facebook, but rarely uses it.

my church has facebook and post my sermons on their, as I'm no longer a missions leader, but I am a bi-vo pastor. Wondering when/if that is going to cause me a problem.

Agreed. A good place for sheeple to hang out.
That is exactly like me getting banned form some gay-bar.

I would not care (or even notice) because I have never been there even once----- and I never will.

Why would anyone be so foolish as to support the enemy who is trying to destroy them?

+1

Just because people here don’t agree with it, millions and millions are gullible to what they are fed there.

95% of news pop ups on these social media sites will be pro Biden and anti Trump. Bet on it.
If we've been banned why's the like button on the left near the page location..... double standard sunźof-agunź

😉
Why use google, there are other search engines to be used. Like duckdckgo and ect.

Brain washing and allowing dumb to have a voice....
So glad I’m no longer a fb user.
Never been there, never had a need to. I like it just fine right here.
I guess that one has to be there before they can ban you.

I won't have to worry about that.
I go of fecesbook primarily to keep of with what my kids and grandkids are doing. There's a few decent gun and hunting pages there dedicated to specific cartridges like the .280 Rem. and .35 Whelen. There are several dedicated to handloading as well.

I'll also admit I like riling up the liberals. One is sadly my brother in law. He's "Ridin' with Biden." he's very upset with me. He called me a while and told me that now that his sister has passed, he has no qualms about coming to see me and straighten me out. I'm quaking in my boots.
Paul B.
I’m scared old girlfriends could find me!
Hey, look at me I am special. Let's tell the world what my immediate and future plans are. You have to be some incredibly stupid 1 digit IQ MOFO to actively post on it.
Look at it this way: when they've banned every conservative, right-thinking, genuine American, all we'll have to do is ask, "Are you on Facebook?" and if they answer, Yes!" we'll know they're one of THEM.

Good, 'cause if you need Facebook to boost what you're doing, you're not doing it right.
I was a member in the early days, wish I never was. Jettisoned that cr@p years ago, and never looked back.
What's a Facebook's?
Zuckerberg is laughing outta his ass at Americans.

Like google and amazon, bust them up.

Will never happen though.

Needs to happen. The Rino phags have no stones. Liberal money is their game.

I thought this thread was about Facebook, not church?
If they are all so good for folks, FB, goodle, amazeon, etc..............

why have their CEOs been called in front of Congress? By members of both parties???
i use it mostly for marketplace. its a great place to buy and sell . craigslist has become a page full of scams. most of the friend request i get on facebook are deleted because i dont need to hear about everyone elses problems.

they are all connected ,if you go anywhere on the internet and do searches for any product the next day you will get ads selling the same product on your facebook page. same with the buying and selling,do searches for one thing and you will get ads for a week selling the items you searched for.

What search engine are you using? Goofle by any chance? Are you using an ad blocker?
Yes, they banned me by demanding my phone number! I refuse to give the leftist scum any more personal information than a email address.
