Looking for a good weather app for my smartphone. I was using Dark Sky, but it recently went away. I guess they are not in business anymore. Any recommendations?

weatherbug.com

It’s free. Shows right where you are and what’s around you.

weather.com seems to be the most accurate of the ones I have tried.

Henry,

Did you see my post earlier?
Uh, guess not. Where was it and what was it about?
Weather bug. Free, easy, accurate.
I posted the best site that I've ever seen, earlier
is why I asked. This is the best one I've found so far. The data available is probably more than meteorologists have had up until recently.
Read this, then I'll be right back to post it for you.
From their "About us home page."

Dark Sky went to Apple only. Piss on them.
I changed to Accuweather. They changed it a bit a few days ago but it is very good. Even does minute by minute for the next hour
I'm with Smokepole, Weather Underground
My Radar. It does it all
The reason that I asked is that it's the first time that I've posted it and the same day, someone asked! 😄
No worries. Its all good.
Are you a Christian?

www.ventusky.com

If you want to download the app, its free.
I just link to the site.
If you have questions, feel free to ask.
Best way is PM. That gets my attention as soon as I log in. I don't always check my previous posts.
Thanks for the info. I just logged in and asked for suggestions. Had not read through the various posts. I checked out the link you posted. Impressive. Also, answer to your question: yes. THANKS!
You're very welcome.

The reason that I ask is that there's no way that this is a coincidence. Only One Person can make that happen.

Weather bug for forecasts.
If anyone is interested in a basic weather app for Android that doesn't require an actual install, the Google weather shortcut can be put on your home screen. Click the microphone icon and say "weather" and if it works, Google with ask you if you want a quick link on your home screen. Simple, fast, no install and no ads. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some of the installed apps but worth looking at if you want the basics.
wunderground (weather underground) is what I use.
Weather.gov 7 day.
Been happy with Transparent Clock and Weather, on Android. Light but links to details when desired. Easy to watch a few locations. Does not require GPS to be on. Using a simple 1x2 widget showing the current stuff. Several mentioned above are too large for my desires as further details are easy to get when desired.
