That's why he is listed as a victim to the reckless endangerment charge.

McGinnis clearly said in the clip that Rosenbaum "lunged" for the rifle.

The second two shootings, clear cut self defense in my book.
The McGinnis charge wouldn't hold water anyplace. McGinnis ran into the scene of a man with a rifle voluntarily. The reckless charge is BS.
There's a reason the DA made that charge. Not to stack another few years on a double life sentence. It's to have McGinnis's video.

If you had the slightest inking of how the criminal justice system worked, you'd know that unless a police officer actually witnesses a crime happen, they cannot arrest a suspect without a warrant. Warrants are signed by judges, and charges come through the district atty's office.

So his bail is two million, and he sits in jail? WTF? Can all of the right in America not scrape together two million to get him out? Is there a bail fund for him? If not, why not? I am talking about a fund specifically to make his bail. This guy did what he had to do with a remarkable situational awareness and restraint, especially given his age, and he rots in jail while the attackers get to walk around spewing their bullschit. We can do better than that.

What does a cop do if there is no crime? What does a cop do who values his oath more than his pension? What power do corrupt judges and corrupt district attorneys have without compliant police? Answer those questions, for me. I only have an IQ of 150, so I don't know what I'm talking about.

He's likely safer in jail than out on the street. There's a lot of people that want his head on a pike and I suspect they would come after him in his home.
