Even from the little recipe book that came with our bread maker these turned out pretty dang fine:
Never could abide them - been 30 years since one has passed these lips.
Fresh and hot from the oven with a glass of ice cold milk....yum.
I’d be like a Duroc hog if I got my choppers on them
For those that do not bake a Kosher Cinnamon Babka is a healthy substitute.
Fresh and hot from the oven with a glass of ice cold milk....yum.
I had to make a second cup of coffee for me when those came out of the oven. Not much of a milk drinker anymore.
Fresh and hot from the oven with a CUP OF HOT COFFEE....yum.
YEAH.
Fresh and hot from the oven with a glass of ice cold milk....yum.
Add lots of butter slathered on - gives me heartburn, but so what?
Never could abide them - been 30 years since one has passed these lips.

Somethin' just ain't right ifn a fella don' like cinnamon buns.
My dad hates cinnamon.
The old fashioned "sticky bun" is a viable workaround.
Nice job Geno.
I didn't do it. I awoke to the breadmaker going and asked "Oh, you're making bread". Nope, cinnamon buns was the answer. I'm quite OK with that deal!
Only good job I did was picking the gal I think, and deciding to stay around.
Yeah....thats what I was getting at.
It takes a smart man to marry well.....and an even smarter man to stay married.
I am neither....but we have a contract so......
I tell mine.......See that ring on your finger.........it's in the shape of an "O" for a reason.................it means ownership.................
That doesn't go over too well.
Neither of us likes lawyers, so getting out of the contract thing comes in handy too.
Besides, I still like her...............mostly.
Hot coffee and hot cinnamon rolls, hell yes!
Cici,s ones are pretty good.
Technically not cinnamon rolls.
Just globs of pizza dough with cinnamon and white icing on em
Cooked in a pizza oven.
Yeah, yeah, yeah I know....
Me and my unrefined palate.
It's so uncouth I shouldn't even post on a thread like this.
Blah blah blah......
LOL!!!
Even the ones from the pop open rolls are pretty good, but a far cry from homemade of course
I really like them, gives me heartburn, but I eat them anyway. Tums to the rescue!!!
No raisins??

Raisins in em sounds pretty good!!!
Espeically the ones near the outside that are crisper and chewier than the soft inside ones.
Add a cup of coffee and man what a treat! Good job!

French press! Right?

If they are anything like those sorry excuse for a doughnut things, I’ll certainly pass. Can’t stand em.

Type 2s like me love them too. But that's about as far as I can take it.

Sort of makes the "frosting" on yours a bit questionable.

Any left? Please pass one this way (to the right)
Only way I will eat cinnamon rolls is freshly made. When I ran the night shift for my company at Anchorage international Airport, at 3 am i would run up to cinnabuns up in the terminal and get a dozen for the guys and me. Fresh out of the oven. We always had a fresh pot of coffee going.
Even from the little recipe book that came with our bread maker these turned out pretty dang fine:
Those look really good. My wife is a food service manager in the local school system and her specialty is sweet rolls. She hand makes them and bakes them in an industrial convection oven. They come out huge, soft, gooey and decadent. I gain 10lbs just looking at them. Yours look really appetizing.
I love cimmarins....what the kids called them

Raisins are like broccoli. They ruin everything you put them into.
Grandy’s Famous Sinnamon Rolls with melted butter on em’ are pretty flippin’ good...!

Aren't some folks considering those a boycottable item. Or are the French back on good terms now?

even though you are uncouth, as you pointed out........and sometimes a bit of a butthead.....................
you've redeemed yourself with knowing which raisins are the best.
Raisins are like broccoli. They ruin everything you put them into.
That's OK, you can pick them out.

gives a different meaning to get away from the hot stove woman, I want to get me some of that stuff.
The problem with cinnamon rolls is I eat too many. They look good.
First, who likes chicken & watermelon. Now, who likes cinnamon rolls.
Isn't all this like , who likes puzzy?

Well,
what's stopping you?
Start your own thread buddy. I'm tired of mine getting hijacked. Start a simple thread about rural traffic jams and it turns into a "lets fight" thread.
I, for one, will answer in the affirmative should you start that thread.
Those look really good! I can't resist them when they're around, I'd eat the whole pan.
There is a grocery store in Alamo Nevada that makes fresh ones every day. I always stop and load up when I'm driving through.
Going to have to look up Alamo now, see if I ever get through that way at times. Name is not striking a bell.
It's north of Vegas on Hwy. 93; small farming community. Some of my peeps from there.
Looked it up, I don't get out that way anymore.
Who knows, on your recommendation maybe I make a little detour when I'm on the way home from AZ next time!

Gee Geno, just messin around. Wasn't tryin to be belligerent or any thing. But I'll try to avoid posting in you your threads if that would suit you better. Let me know.

Dude,
Lighten up.
See that part where I answered your question? If I didn't want you posting in "my threads" I'd not reply to your posts.
You sounded like you were pissed, guess I read it wrong. Start your own thread.....buddy. can be taken different ways, different voices we can't hear on the net. You got baggage from the other thread that's clear. I went & looked, & saw that was a cluster. Your tired of it, OK.
Have a beer on me. And maybe get you some.
That 17 page hijack had to be frustrating.
Way past my bedtime, goodnight.

This place is the ultimate fuggin mini clown car with 17 friggen clowns in it..................no way to stop it from crashing and letting all the clowns out.
Some of us keep asking Rick for a sarcasm font or such, just doesn't seem to be a happenin' thing. and one can't read body language or facial expressions on an internet forum.
Hope you enjoy the day tomorrow...............I intend to...............I still have cinnamon rolls to eat!

T,
I'd send you some, but by the time they got there they'd be stale. Stale cinnamon rolls are better than no cinnamon rolls.....................but I'm not willing to risk having them stolen by the PO employees.
Hope all is well.

Got me inspired. Might make a pan this weekend.
I'm a pro-walnut, pro-raisin (whiskey soaked) guy myself. Buttermilk in the roll's, too.

Settle down you gawddamn kids!
Over last weekend got a batch of Cinnamon Rolls looking just like those in Geno's picture at a farmers market in Newkirk, Oklahoma.
All I can say is MMM MMMM Good!

After all, you're not a real Canuck, they're generally nice folks..................
Aussies on the other hand? Let's say at times they take some getting used to.

There's some folks around here that sell at places like that and at one or two of the local stores. My wife and I agree, even this recipe from the pamphlet that came with the breadmaker is way better than theirs. We wonder if they're using a commercial mix, or making them ahead in big batches, freezing, then bringing them out for sale.
Fresh and homemade seems to be the best way to go.
But storebought and even CiCi's are better than NO cinnamon rolls, eh?
Settle down you gawddamn kids!
Yes dad.
Do we keep you in practice for scary rides in the truck with the kids?

All you need now is a big bowl of chili to go with those rolls.
Geno
Do you deliver? Those look great
Whenever I get into Denver, I try to swing by Duffy's for a box of goodness..... Their sticky buns are awesome.
Waiting for someone to post a recipe that doesn’t involve being there when your Grandma made them in 1964!

The Hutes sell baked goods at the Farmer’s market in Havre and Shelby. Their pies look good, but taste like garbage.

Sorry dude,
too late.
Wife finished the last one this afternoon.
Maybe next batch I return the box you sent with a couple?
Post Office probably screw that up though, either lose them of the box would open and they'd "disappear".

Interesting. I'll have to try these folks' pies. Wife has tried their cookies, cinnamon rolls, and a couple of other things and hasn't been impressed. Not sure how the pies are as we haven't tried them yet.

LaMar’s Donuts in Denver is dope too...! They are completely off the hook...the best I’ve ever had.
I have a couple of friends that eat cinnamon rolls with their chili also.

Huh, never heard of eating cinnamon rolls with chili. Love cinnamon rolls, but with chili, pass the cornbread, please.

I pulled the box outta the trash for the pic. The rolls don't last long around here.... next time I'll grab a pic before they go away.

Around here it's expected you have cinnamon rolls if you're having chili. Every chili soup fund raiser has them.

Can not think of much in the way of sweets that beats a really good cinnamon roll.
Mos are not really good ones though.

You ARE a lucky man.
What are you going to do if they marry and move away???
I'm OK, eating Thrifty Black Cherry ice cream right now. An old favorite. Used to be called Burgundy Cherry years ago when there were Thrifty Drug stores. Sure glad RiteAid kept the Thrifty ice cream alive.

Love love love Thrifty Ice cream. Remember them cylinder scoops? Chocolate Malted Crunch is the bomb.
First out warm walnut pumpkin bread with cream cheese frosting. While watching Carol Burnett show.
I hope Harvey doesn't make you laugh and spit cake all over the living room!
Pointer Sisters tonight.
Momma's Family skit as well. Burnett, Lawrence, Korman and Conway. Playing charades.
Had Youngest Daughter 22yrs busting up laughing who had never seen Momma's Family.
Round two. Blueberry muffins.
Muffins and Momma's Family and a kid who's never seen them.
Sounds like a wonderful evening.

mountain maple...
original...
and none of that ghastly white frosting...
i blew my diet last nite at 10 p.m. my wife made cinnamon rolls 9;30 p.m., the smell of those fresh baked cinnamon rolls were too addicting when those rolls came out of the oven, so i picked out the biggest one and put melted butter on it and ate it very slowly with a cold glass of milk. i wanted another but i resisted dang they are tasty !
Local Mennonites run a country restaurant a few miles from where I live. They make some oh-so-fine cinnamon rolls and sticky buns.
