My GPS gets used more measuring acres on farm fields more than fishing.
I do have some Ontario waypoints marked however.
Your clothes are that of a farmer, but I don't see any wounds or missing fingers.
BTW, I have the exact same GPS, but mine has a Lake-Vu chip.
That's son Jake, he does all the work.
I've got points on my for fishing spots in lakes all over Ontario that I'll probably never get to again. I also have points back to main camp from various portages where, prior to the acquisition of the GPS, long discussions were held over just whereinhell camp was.
Many like that - all wonderful!

So, us that really Jake’s GPS?
🤔😆
Got the secret huckleberry spots marked in ours.
Waitin' for John to get a hankerin for Timbits!
If you GPSed that store, it's a weighpoint...
5sdad likes Tim Hortons. I deleted my Timmbits picture.
My garmin oregon450 just got wonky. It works well w/ my On X when connected to my laptop but shows nothing on the screen when not. I changed batteries but no help. I hope their CS is good because it has been pretty handy for>6 years.

Maybe that's his good hand.

It's Jake's hand - I assume that he is too young to have dealt with the old tractor-mounted limb removal devices.
I have a Garmin Montana gps with an OnX chip. It works very well but it's big and heavy. I also have Onx on my phone and I always have it with me anyway so the Garmin is just added weight. For most things, the phone does a very good job but it's not as accurate as the Garmin. A couple years ago we played around with geocaching a bit. The Garmin proved to be accurate within 3'. The phone is more like 10 to 15'. Maybe more expensive phones are more accurate, I don't know. Still, the phone is close enough for 99% of what I do with it. I'm not hunting buried treasure. You'd definitely want something better for surveying, though, and you CERTAINLY wouldn't want it driving your Tesla.
