How many times in the last several decades have the members of the Demonrat/Commie/pedo Party told us that we were paranoid because their Party had no intentions of taking our guns?

I remember when that loathsome, arrogant paddler came aboard and in short order made that same false claim.

Now some of their candidates are out in the open about their anti-second amendment policies.

Like this ass-hole Assoff.LMAO

Senate candidate Jon Ossoff (D-GA) is campaigning on a ban on the sale of semi-automatic rifles and “high capacity” magazines.

On his campaign website Ossoff says, “I support a ban on the sale of semi-automatic rifles (“assault weapons”) and high-capacity magazines to the general public.”

A ban on semi-automatic rifles, which he referred to as “assault weapons,” would be a ban on AR-15s, AK-47s, and variants of both platforms, together with numerous other commonly-owned semi-automatic rifles, which happen to be some of the most popular firearms in America.

The National Rifle Association’s Andrew Arulanandam told Breitbart News that the current “low end” estimate of privately-owned AR-15s in the United States is 18 million. Again, that is only AR-15s. That is not counting AK-47s and the incredible number of other semi-automatic rifles owned and treasured by Americans.

Ossoff’s ban on the sale of “high capacity” magazines is no less egregious. The National Shooting Sports Foundation sent Breitbart News information on consumer magazine possession for the years 1990-2018 and it shows there are an estimated 79.2 million privately owned 30-round rifle magazines in America.

If we treat “high capacity” as any magazine holding 11 or more rounds, then there are an estimated 88.6 million such privately owned rifle magazines in America. And we have not even begun to discuss the millions of pistol magazines that hold 11 rounds or more.

Ossoff is also campaigning on the passage of red flag laws, universal background checks for gun purchases, and “closing the gun show loophole,” among other controls.

He is headed for a January 5, 2021, run-off election against pro-Second Amendment Sen. David Perdue (R-GA). The race between Ossoff and Perdue is one that will decide whether the Senate remains in Republicans’ pro-Second Amendment hands or falls to the pro-gun control Democrats.

They don't hide it any more. Or anything for that matter.
They can "ban" whatever they want. I am not taking orders from open traitors and criminals anymore.

"From my cold, dead hands."
Biden even said he was gonna come for them. At least sleepy Joe didn't bullshidt us on this one, I believe him.

This will get interesting
Ossoff reminds me of Beto Orourk in Texas. Even with $60,000,000 from the east coast he did not beat Cruz..
We in Australia copped it back in '96, and took it lying down. There were peaceful protests but that soon folded up.

I believe you , but Texans better get busy speaking out
RED DAWN !!!
I wouldn’t want the part of the crew tasked with the roundup.
That is usually the kiss of death for a candidate. I don't think it plays in GA. Republicans should keep hammering it to the people of Georgia between now and January 5.

I talk to a sheriff quite a bit at the local hardware/auto store. He's definitely right leaning. We talk about these kind of laws all the time. He did say he will not participate in any kind of gun confiscation. Alot of his co workers won't either. He also said he will retire before being forced to.

Hey, last I looked heroin was illegal in most of this country yet that doesn't stop people from possessing and using it. Making something illegal isn't the same as getting rid of anything. What's that what our liberal counterparts said "Resist?" I'm in favor of dong just that and instead of referring to ourselves as "law abiding citizens" we instead should refer to ourselves as "freedom loving citizens." Referring to ourselves as law abiding infers that we will comply with whatever stupid or unconstitutional law that the enemies of freedom passes. I would be so disappointed if that was the case for most of us. Here in NY we already have these bans and the compliance rate is extremely low. Most have been squirreled away awaiting the day when the Supreme Court rules these laws to be the infringement that we know they are.
it doesn't matter what the jacka$$ in GA thinks about gun control. Pelosi and crew in the house are going to write the bill, and if the senate is Dem majority or a tie, its going to sail through and get signed If there is some high profile mass shooting they will whip up another more drastic bill and that will sail through too.

The only hope for preventing bills like these is 51 in the senate. If you live in GA, Vote, get your friends to vote. If you don't live in GA there send some money for all our sakes..

Whether it will do any good, 90% of the counties in Virginia are 2a sanctuaries with resolutions such as this one passed in highland.
Some restrict any county funds being used in any efforts to restrict 2nd amendment rights.

It’s not that hard. Wait til someone leaves the house, pinch them somewhere else. No need to do any entries or anything like that. If you got kids, that’s another avenue. COVID may make that tactic less viable with video school. Otherwise, its in play.

We need to do this everywhere. This is the exact kind move the liberals make, but turned on its head. It's brilliant.

NY can't even get LE to enforce this kind of crap. There are tons of upstate Sheriff's, DA's and other agencies that refuse to enforce it. Most of the state's gun owners have ignored Cuomo's SAFE act. 45,000 "assault" weapons registered out of the 1.5 - 2 million estimated to be in the state. A tiny fraction and this is NY. People said GFY and have ignored it. More political theater from Cuomo that the media doesn't expose. They keep allowing Cuomo to tout the SAFE act like it accomplished anything at all. Biden and the rest of them have no idea on the resistance they will meet. They have no way of locating a vast majority of the guns that are in this country.
go down in a hail of gunfire

Peaceful protests not effective against communists?

Who knew.

They don't need to round up anyone. There won't any new ones sold and they will just whittle down the owners with slow enforcement. They just wait until there is a traffic stop and you have a rifle or magazine in the car and charge you with a couple of felonies, or have a officer walk through shooting ranges every now and then, enough that you can't hardly take the ones you already to own out to shoot unless you have a large private property to do so. Over time it will get more and more difficult to find and keep the semi's and magazines.

Just as worry some would be some of the Democratic Ideas on restricting ammunition purchases. Like need a license to purchase, banning internet sales of ammo and components, requiring a NICS check to buy ammo, or limiting purchases to some absurdly small number or rounds.

Typical. Not busting on him too bad, since I am glad he falls our direction on it, but retire? Last I checked, the oath didn’t say retire in the face of domestic enemies. His job is not to retire and collect a pension, leaving the spot to be filled with someone who will violate the Constitution as requested. His job is to defend the Constitution and his constituents.

Were I a sheriff, and some schmuck came demanding that I confiscate weapons from my neighbors, they would be lucky to land in my jail. That’s if I didn't shoot them in the face reflexively. Of course, I am not a sheriff, since I would also have a problem with confiscating property for nonpayment of illegal real estate taxes. Many of the laws currently on the books are repulsive and unthinkable to someone from the era of people like Frederic Bastiat and Thomas Jefferson. Guess I should have lived back then. Would have fit in better. Wonder what some of the old time sheriffs would have done if some azzwipe from Washington came around demanding they disarm their local ranchers and townfolks?
Biden is not president nor will he ever be.
Anyone who thinks they are beyond our constitution can go get fugged. I love my country, my constitution, politicians not so much.

I totally understand what your saying. He said he wasn't gonna enforce unconstitutional laws. From there I'm not gonna guess or speak for him when it comes to the retirement issue. It's just nice hearing cops in a blue county say that we have rights.
My guess is he has his time in and is sick of the bullschit that they expect LE to do and being societies whipping boy. Happening everywhere, anyone who has their time is getting out.
The liberals have caught on to how powerful the sheriffs can be when elected. In WA, counties are passing resolutions to make the Sheriff an appointed position.

I will give them one thing, the bastards never quit.
If Biden were elected, which he won't be, there would be an immediate breakthrough saying schools are no risk. And, a few weeks later, another school shooting.

Lives mean nothing to those fuggers. Child lives, black lives, unborn lives. All the same. Just numbers to push an agenda.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on the courts. The Sullivan law is clearly unconstitutional yet has stood for over 100 years.

Lots of people haven't turned them in but they ain't using them either. A lot of the county sheriffs aren't enforcing it but the state police will and have. A gun/magazine you're afraid to take out and use ain't good for a helluva lot.
mors tyrannis!
We talk about keeping our guns and I sometimes find myself being too tunnel vision about it but we are also ensuring that the future generations that follow us have guns to defend life and liberty with. If we fail our own times we also fail theirs.

The fact of the matter is, no one should be surprised.

Gun control efforts ebbs and flows, but it is always there, always real, and always prevalent. Even when it goes silent and we can all run around and finally buy some little boxes of 22lr, we are a target.

And it is only one aspect of the much bigger problem.

Anyone here suddenly shocked by this, is clueless. And there are a few here who are.
How come every time you open your mouth, it says azzhole...azzhole....?
Molon Labe, Lyin' Biden.....
The real problem is the ~50% of this country that have been brainwashed and can be manipulated. They are weak minded fools that believe what the deep state tells them - they will be safe and secure when guns are outlawed. That is the biggest problem, and, they expand through reproduction. Unfortunately, there will be a point in time that we all die off and they are the grand majority. At that point, the constitution and bill of rights will be nothing more than TP as far as they are concerned. Without major changes in the universities and schools, our country is foundering and sinking.
Harris says she will take away licenses from FFL's
There will be registration/permit system, fees, restrictions on type of firearms that can be bought, quality of ammo, no internet sales of ammo or parts,.....just like in EU. It is only a matter of time before this happens in US.
Lot of gun owners on other US forms are discussing purchase of ten cartridge magazines for auto handguns. I suggest wonderful Smith & Wesson Sc framed .45 ACP revolver with stainless cylinder, four inch barrel and Houge combat grip. cool
[Linked Image from i.kym-cdn.com]
Just the other day people were on here all concerned about the guy who got Kyle Rittenhouse his "assault rifle" and talking about how it was a straw purchase and other such tripe. If there is an AWB there will be questions on here about where to turn in your guns, etc. Just like right now pogues suggesting ten round mags and how to comply.
Something that may give them pause...

The House has the smallest Democrat majority since 1943--1945. Apparently people who didn't like Trump didn't like all the progressive commie bullshit either.

In midterm elections (next one in 2022) if one party has the House and the Presidency, they almost always lose House seats.

All this commie stuff, including gun confiscation, just may cost them the House. And they may not be too stupid to realize that.
It will be time to protect the 2nd amendment if the progressive fascists try to pack the court. That would be an act of tyranny. They would be copying the dictator in Venezuela who uses their Supreme Court to maintain his power.
They can always cheat their way into power.

That's going to give Sycamore a hard one
Didn't the courts shoot down caliotoes hi-cap mag law?
For one week. Called freedom week. Supposedly over 1 million high capacity mags bought into state before it was put on hold pending appeal of decision.
ASS-off was part of the steal
Tarred and feathered, or whatever it takes.

Jon Osseff is Beto II,

You do see where this is from December, so it's campaign rhetoric, right?

Nevertheless, Ossoff is a gun grabber and an effete liberal that got office in this strange election, and will be an easy target when he comes up for re-election. Problem is, that is 6 years away.

The "Majority" support nothing Democrat.
If they did, they wouldn't need to flood the country with potential longer term voters.
I do not believe there is a majority of maxist/communists in the US at present, though they are working hard to increase the numbers. After the Boomer die off, they may succeed at that point, if, the leadership of the Supreme Court fails to support the constitution and ultimately the citizenry. The constitution is worth dying for to protect and preserve. Nothing Democrat is its equal or value.
The USA is the only country in the world that was founded on a concept of equal value to its people. Despite interpretation flaws and challenges, it is the closet thing to an act of decency ever written.
I believe that.
This regime has almost 4 years to take our guns. Now is as good a time as any for them to try since many of us are still hot over the election steal, the sham impeachment and everything else they've done and have in the works. Strike while the iron is hot. Many of us are feeling like striking back.
