Yeah. Sure, they’re made in China, but they’re honest to Gawd wood and steel, for $25. Things will last 30-50 years. Plus, kinda neat that these actually have the compass and sundial on the stock. For this price, they’d even be a cool cheap gift for ADULT friends..

Don’t see them ONLINE at Walmart, but they had a whole center isle display of them there, today. Only $25 at mine..

Still have mine and it still works. Got it when I was 6 years old , I will be 56 soon.

They don't seem to have the power as the one I had as a kid. I picked up one a year or two ago and it is pretty sad.

My wife brought one home today as a gift for her step-dad. He's a big fan of the movie these are marketed towards.

I bought a Red Ryder for my grandson Case the day he was born. He’s 13 now and still shoots it a lot. He shoots a 243 for deer, though, and quite well I might add. I guess Red Ryder served it’s purpose!

Assuming Brickseek is accurate, they must have them sitting on a pallet in the back because I have been to three of the locations that show their have them in stock.

That's how I determined which three stores to go to.

Thanks for the tip - but still have the one I received as a birthday gift in 1948. It looks worn and once had to fix/weld the cocking handle - but it still takes down the small stuff.

Same problem here. Says they have them, but Nada at store. Oh well just a 50 mile round trip no big deal

FYI, they are NOT in the normal air gun “section”. They are in a special cardboard “kiosk” located in a center aisle. Good luck

I thought that might be the case and walked around looking and asked a couple of employees if they had seen them. I should have found a store manager to see if it was in the back and the display had not been set up.

I ended up finding some in a far off Wal-Mart but I'd have never taken the time to check if it weren't for the OP.
