Interesting.

That song was smoothly done by Ms Harry.

This version sounds forced.

That said, crazy B or not, any single guy in his right mind shouldn't kick her out the bed. At least no on the first go round.
Here she covers a Bob Dylan tune and I tell you what, she absolutely slays it. Great voice.

Posted By: Rooster7 Re: the campfire's favorite - 02/22/21
She did not sing that very well.

Heard her sing Dolly's "Jolene" once and it was damn good.

For a slut.

I think Miley, the crazy little tramp, just kicked Debbie Harries ass to the curb. Then turned around & showed plenty, plenty of class & sang Jolene very well, while barefooted in the back yard.

WTF ever she is, she can do it if she puts her mind to it. Bravo

I saw Bonnie Raitt at a small venue in the 80's and thought she and her band were excellent. A couple years ago I found out she's a flaming liberal, So I don't think that much about her anymore.

Uh no, Rap style used by Blondie was around almost a decade before.

Blondie crossover mainstreamed it to white folks.

You tube has some early "raps" in song going back to the 1940s maybe earlier. By black groups. Blondie just hit the charts bigger.

Having dated a bunch of operatic singers in my day, I would say that she's having trouble getting support from her abdominal muscles. Her chords don't sound healthy either. That kind of performance can't be sustained. I lot of singers resort to belting like that when they start to fade. I predict burnout.

I disagree, some vocal chords can handle it. Dave Grohl has been doing it for 25+ years. Her vocals sound strong to me, no falsetto. Yeah she's a whore who cares.

Miley Cyrus is a slut.

Here's a real lady.

She can afford her own hookers. Her net is approaching 1/4 billion. Since I took duck’s class, and I’m on a wagering roll, I’d bet she’s better looking AND better off financially then everyone on this thread! 😜

Don't like her, her fashion sense, or her lifestyle & choices, but yeah, she can sing !!

The Jolene cover is a favourite.
