We supposed to get rain over the next 3 days, they calling for 2-3 inches in my area.
Posted By: Hammerdown Re: Pouring Azz Rain - 03/23/21
Good for you guys. I think rain is needed in most locations.

Calling for snow here tonight into tomorrow morning. My son had baseball tryouts tonight and those kids looked cold, although not as cold as most of the parents.
Posted By: stxhunter Re: Pouring Azz Rain - 03/23/21
we could use it but looks like it's all north of here.
Posted By: hanco Re: Pouring Azz Rain - 03/23/21
We are supposed to get a little.
Posted By: Oldman03 Re: Pouring Azz Rain - 03/23/21
It's just come a small shower, but slacked off for now. Radar shows that we might get a good shower in 4-5 hrs.

I’ll be happy to just see normal temperatures. We’re @ mid-20s and should be mid-30s for the high. Sun is strong, but we need warmer air to start melting snow.

Wind and snow polished the driveway Saturday. Scraped it up with the ratchet rake on the tractor today.

I have about three feet of snow here I'd love to send your way. Hope you get the rain you need.

Passed through here in the night, sounded spectacular, roaring wind/pounding rain. I mostly slept through it.

We need dry weather here for at least a week. Supposed to get some heavy rain this week, just what we do not need.

Same here, the creeks are mostly back in the banks but it wouldn't take much to mess it up again.

We got another shower, but for the most part, the front kinda split around us. We're like some of the other fellows, dont really need the rain, right now.
Posted By: wabigoon Re: Pouring Azz Rain - 03/23/21
Nice easy rain here. The grass is greening nicely.
Posted By: wilkeshunter Re: Pouring Azz Rain - 03/23/21
We could use a few weeks without a drop of rain. We have had above average rainfall the past 2 1/2 years. I have never seen the ground stay so soft for so long.
Posted By: rockinbbar Re: Pouring Azz Rain - 03/23/21
That came through here early this morning... Rained a whopping 1/10.

Same here, water is flowing down the mountain in front of my house.

Rained like hell for just a minute, more noise than anything
Posted By: bkraft Re: Pouring Azz Rain - 03/23/21
1.75" yesterday at the home place south of Wichita rained all night and still raining now. Flood warnings on a couple of creeks and small rivers. Gonna need to start mowing when it warms up.

Got a nice rain here in north Texas last night. My retentive self was out there clearing all the live oak droppings that had compacted in the downspouts. Lightning, bare feet, metal ramrod, metal ladder.....what could go wrong?

Seen from "The Bad Seed" came to mind.

We are lined up for 6 to 10 in over the next 3 days. The first line in about 30 min just in time for rush hour. Let the crash fest begin.

9.33” of rain in the last 7 days, pretty soon I will need a canoe.
Posted By: jackmountain Re: Pouring Azz Rain - 03/24/21
Just right here. Snow melted, mud dried up, putting footers in as quick as we can. Grass is greening up. Have onions popping up already. Hoping to hunt mushrooms this weekend so some overnight rains with warmer nights would be a welcome.

Been getting some sorely needed wet show, here.
Melting from underneath, then later in the day, just totally melts.
No idea how much moisture - but pretty decent.
(rain gauges will freeze and break for a while yet)
Supposed to get some more tonight and tomorrow - dunno how much, and the forecasters are just guessing this time of year. smile
I think 1 1/2 to 2 feet would be ideal. (Hear me Lord?)
We've already had as much, or more, moisture on parts of the place than we got all last year! Thanks, Lord!

Is that what happens on the schitter about 8 hours after a dozen wings covered in blazin hot sauce and chased down with a sixer of cheap beer?
