I'm lucky I searched my backpack well before our costa rica trip last month. I found a small zip lock with 44 mag ammo in a hidden pocket I forgot was there.
I'd taken it on an overnight campout with my oldest boy last year. We were in a bear area so I grabbed my 329pd and put that back with some extra handloaded 310g wide flat nose hard cast lazer cast bullets. I was looking for my earphones last minute and found the ammo right before we left.
The media makes a 50 round box of 22 ammo sound like 50 hellfire missiles.

Hell days after the Oklahoma Bombing flying out of Oklahoma City airport security did a chemical wipe on my brief case they got a hit.....they grabbed all my bags took me to a room did a complete search....only thing I said was may be there was a chemical that came in contact that gave a positive reaction.....
What had happened I kept my brief case in my reloading room at the time and must have come in contact with smokeless powder....I never let the inspectors know what really happened......
