Heck no...we are just attempting to keep up with you.

Next we are going to ban free and fair elections.

Then we are going to make sure anyone that commits a felony pays for the rest of their life.

We will then abandon a heap of citizens in some third world cesspit and give the local lunatics there everything they could possibly dream of.

After that we are looking at allowing rampaging mobs to destroy our cities and possessions without any comeback.

We also figger that it would be worthwhile throwing our borders wide open and punishing anyone who disagrees.

We are then looking at subverting our education system so that people will need to home-school.

Might as well make it impossible for locals to get medical attention whilst making sure foreigners get it free.

Then we will tell everyone how "free" we are and laugh at them for not being like us and our US buddies.

And if that isn't enough we are going to double down and really follow your sterling example...right after we purchase some thicker glass for our walls.

Keep it up prick...you pack of clowns haven't managed to do a fucking thing right since Korea.

Don’t assume, it makes you look stupid.
I posted the video because our propaganda unit of the D socialist party isn’t playing them here either.
I posted for the people who think it can’t happen here.
We are all in this together . Unless you’re a socialist. Then you can piss off.

If the shooting of civilians in the streets ever starts here, as it already has in your country, what happens after that in your country will be a sidebar.

The quote of Yamamoto come to my mind "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve". That's why the liberal/socialist/communist politicians want us to not have guns.

Jstuart is talking about your fuqked up government not you personally, don't be so damn sensitive.

Jstuart is not wrong in what he says.

Only thing I can see wrong is that the Aussies still think too much of their police yet. there were many times in those videos that the coppers could have been easily run over by the protesters.

In those videos it is also very obvious the disdain the cops have for their fellow citizens.

another thing I did see wrong was they need to learn to look behind them, don't allow the last one in the pack be picked off by the cops and arrested, return in overwhelming force and retrieve your fellow protester.

From the reactions of the crowd being shot and reports I've read at I'm sure it was rubber bullets but you are correct, even shooting with rubber bullets is a bad omen.

Thing is LD...they already have, or don't you remember those shot on campus by your national guard, or those veterans that were treated so abysmally by your government and military when they and their families were over-run in their camps instead of receiving what they were promised, or the mine owners that had their striking miners machine gunned...Waco/Ruby ridge etc.

Your history is replete with authority killing it's own...and not a finger lifted.

We don't trust our cops as far as we can kick them, but they didn't sit on their hands like yours did during the riots either...and it is extremely rare for a copper here to shoot anyone.

In all those riots and cities burning the only people I saw on the news fighting back were Koreans...and not one of those had a "campfire" hat on.

Fine thank you...everything is peachy.

I don't pay much tax, my wife and I earn about 120 grand a year, but we aren't greedy...I just spent a week in hospital on antibiotics and steroids, that and the scans, x-rays, and follow up care has cost me a grand total of au $50.
I then had two weeks off on paid annual leave...tomorrow I will be back at work and annoying all and sundry again...my wife is really looking forward to that.

My wife is on 4 1/2 months paid long service leave, after which she will take early retirement and get a lump sum payout which will pay our bills and put a few hundred thousand dollars in the bank.
We will then have my 60-odd grand wage to live on for the next 10 years 'til I retire and get a super payout...plus we will both be on pensions.

After which we are going to wander the nation for a couple of years hunting and fishing as we will before coming home to settle.

What's it like to live every day knowing your "independence" was given rather than won?

I think we were always on common ground. That’s a problem with internet comms instead of face to face. Talking over a mug of piss is a better form of comms.

Every nation has its set of problems, often due to those in charge making bad decisions. The US isn't exempt. Which is why comments by some posters suggesting that Australians are somehow less concerned, or unwilling to stand up for their rights than Americans can get a bit irritating.

Wasting your time as they don't want to hear your opinion, they want to hear their opinion coming out of your mouth.

So don't challenge them as most are not equipped for the effort.

Hmmm someone’s paying those taxes. It sounds like you really enjoy government mandates in the workplace, government handouts/control and all of the other “perks” of socialism. No wonder you have no real guns and are several steps ahead of the US on your road to a authoritarian nanny state.

And just remember...you can still have the doctor of your choice!

Aren't you embarrassed...you should be.

My insurance and most everyone I know has private insurance. Honestly despite the politics around “Obama care” since the mandate tax penalty was removed I’m not sure how’s anything’s changed at all. Dirt poor people and especially their kids had Medicaid before and still do or something very similar. Unless you’re poor as fugg nobody in this country has Obama care/Medicaid.

If what you have is a conservative government I’d sure hate to see it when it’s run by liberals!

I know what you won’t be doing during your government paid for retirement you won’t be shooting any AR’s, FAL’s, AK’s, Galil’s, Tavor’s, Beneli M4’s. Shoot you won’t even be shooting any pistols or semi automatic anything. It seems like I read pump actions are banned too? The list of what you are “allowed” to own would probably be a lot shorter. Maybe a nice single Steven’s 22lr or a Harrington and Richardson single shot 410. LOL

Apparently you are stupid as well as ill-informed.

Have at it...but be sure to kiss biden's arse first...seriously though, why do you lot keep getting commies in the white house if you are so all-fired conservative.

As for the firearm quip...tell that to NY and DC.

That is the same here...if you have the scratch.

And to be truthful I suspect the government did what they did because they didn't want all the crap they let in get their hands on anything useful, anything else is just a pretence.

Do I like it...no.

But it is what it is.
You seem to know a lot about our country. What’s your country done besides take away your guns and let you out the house 3 hours per day? I have no idea who your President is or if you have a President, PM or something else? Any famous people in Australia besides that guy from Crocodile Dundee back in the 80’s? Do you export any products that I’d know by name or brand? Your a country famous for sheep and kangaroos.

What makes you think I don't have firearms, and why would you think I am restricted to my house?

And to be honest I don't really give a flying fuck what you think about Australia as it makes absolutely no difference to my life...do you possibly think I require your good grace or kindly thoughts?

News for you...you are not that important.

Not at all. I’m not even mad I’m just killing a little time before bed trading barbs with a dude that comes across as smug half the world away because we can. The US for all its problems still has far more First and Second Amendment freedoms than any other country in the world including yours. If I couldn’t live in the US I’d hate giving up my 2A Freedoms among others but Australia would still be better than most places especially when compared to the 3rd world [bleep] that are most of Africa, the Middle East, South America and most of Asia outside of Japan.

Queen is on all legal tender, which I do not have an issue with as it is part of our history...a bit like our statues, we will keep both.

Not sure how that will translate to the next generation of royals though as they are pretty much irrelevant.

No doubt that if not for America I would be talking Japanese. However, it is also very much in America's interest if this big piece of dirt called Australia did not and does not fall into Asian hands. I think this greatly increased alliance between Australia, the UK and US called AUKUS, is about securing Australia against China and America would have been the driving force.

The politics of both countries and freedoms and restrictions are really about the nature of the two countries. Australia is very arid and flat and with the highest radiant heat in the word, as evidenced by us having the highest incidence of skin cancer. Once you move in from the coast you are in the middle of nowhere and as such laws don't matter much. With guns America is much better for gun ownership and especially component availability and doubly so for calibres like the 30/378 Wby etc.
BUT Australia is much better for gun use. Should be no surprise there as Australia is about the same size as your Lower 48 but there are only 25 million people and hardly any people where you go shooting.

Best two countries in the world.

Truly sad. Tough to watch great countries in decline and folks pointing out thier allied countries flaws.

The Magna Carta still exists, but only as an historical relict- not a governing philosophy. Same as the United States Constitution.

point well taken. No denying that we haven't much to brag about this year after China Joe and the commies took control of our country
Posted By: JeffP Re: Australian tyranny - 09/26/21
Actually our word was compromised after ww2.
China would be democratic if we kept our word.
We didn’t so the Chicoms faced us in Korea.
They then repaid the favor, supporting Vietnam.
Saigon sealed our word as forever worthless in Asia.

Nation building never works if people will not put their own dicks in the dirt , so now we have Iraq and Afghanistan on our resume.

As to the similarity between Australia and the US Today, we are both broken into four factions. Justifiers, deniers, wait and sees, and those with skin in the game. Right now the first two are running the narrative.

Surely not the mere fact of withdrawal, just the way it was FUBARed. This after imposing a sort of Pax Americana for the past 20 years.

Easy to criticize when your own nation lacks the wherewithal to protect anyone from anything.

Over both of our entire lifetimes, were it not for the presence of the US Military the world’s energy would be controlled by either Islamic fanatics or a still-intact USSR. I’m guessing Australia has neither the manpower nor the resources to defend itself against a determined assault by a World Superpower, hence your entire lifetime of a comfortable and secure existence would not have been possible without the US Military.

It’s looking like this is shaping up to be the Chinese Century, you guys had better pray that the USA remains a deterrent.

Why yes we are looking after the communications infrastructure here that can help detect the launch of ICBM from China to you guys. You're welcome.

It's a pity that the support we've given to your troops over the years appears to have been a waste of time, since you're a superpower and all that, but thanks for pointing that out to us.

Me, I’m just some guy who had the fortune to be born a US Citizen, I don’t claim personal credit for anything.

Pointing out how much the US has sucked for the last 65 years while we were and continue to be the pillar upon which the security of the free world rests seems a tad inappropriate is all.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison Brags About Human Rights During U.N. Speech, While State Police Violently Beat Citizens in The Streets Protesting to Support Human Rights

A remarkable contrast video shows the words the Australian Prime Minister delivered during the United Nations General Assembly, while contrasting the brutality that Morrison’s various police units are unleashing in the streets all around Australia.

The original version of this video is being throttled by Google [SEE HERE]. However, a Rumble Version has been uploaded. The video used to overlay the speech is actual news footage from the past five days in Australia.

In virtually every large metropolitan area in the country, State Police, Riot Squads and jackboots can be found beating citizens who leave their homes or refuse to show their approved transit papers. Australians, who attempt to protest the COVID lockdowns and forced vaccinations, are subject to being shot, beaten, arrested and in come cases of female victims, sexually assaulted by police officers. Australia has descended into totalitarianism, and is not easily the most dystopian state in the former free democratic world.

The Taliban in Afghanistan are mild compared to the police units operating in many cities including Melbourne and Sydney. Checkpoints are commonplace everywhere, and quarantine camps for the non-compliant have been established. It is beyond absurd.

Police in Australia are State governments. The Australian Federal Police (Australian version of the FBI) is under the Prime Minister. Also, the various gov't interventions you see in Australia with the virus is State Premiers. State Premiers = US State Governors. Basically the Australian Federation is a copy of the American Federation and that includes the Australian Senate being a copy of the American Senate.
