United States turned into a [bleep], no denying that. True It’s sad to see posters arguing as to which Commie country sucks less The Founders are spinning Truly sad. Tough to watch great countries in decline and folks pointing out thier allied countries flaws. The Magna Carta still exists, but only as an historical relict- not a governing philosophy. Same as the United States Constitution.

Eloquently put.
But what we HAVE done right is protected your security and freedom just by being here.
Not wishing to be rude Birdie, but after Kabul your national word isn't worth much. point well taken. No denying that we haven't much to brag about this year after China Joe and the commies took control of our country

Actually our word was compromised after ww2. China would be democratic if we kept our word. We didn’t so the Chicoms faced us in Korea. They then repaid the favor, supporting Vietnam. Saigon sealed our word as forever worthless in Asia.
Nation building never works if people will not put their own dicks in the dirt , so now we have Iraq and Afghanistan on our resume.
As to the similarity between Australia and the US Today, we are both broken into four factions. Justifiers, deniers, wait and sees, and those with skin in the game. Right now the first two are running the narrative.
Decades of voting for the lesser of two evils has gotten us just that.....

Not wishing to be rude Birdie, but after Kabul your national word isn't worth much. Surely not the mere fact of withdrawal, just the way it was FUBARed. This after imposing a sort of Pax Americana for the past 20 years. Easy to criticize when your own nation lacks the wherewithal to protect anyone from anything. Over both of our entire lifetimes, were it not for the presence of the US Military the world’s energy would be controlled by either Islamic fanatics or a still-intact USSR. I’m guessing Australia has neither the manpower nor the resources to defend itself against a determined assault by a World Superpower, hence your entire lifetime of a comfortable and secure existence would not have been possible without the US Military. It’s looking like this is shaping up to be the Chinese Century, you guys had better pray that the USA remains a deterrent.

Why yes we are looking after the communications infrastructure here that can help detect the launch of ICBM from China to you guys. You're welcome. It's a pity that the support we've given to your troops over the years appears to have been a waste of time, since you're a superpower and all that, but thanks for pointing that out to us.
Whatever you said...everyone knows you are a lying jerk. That's a bold assertion. Point out where you think I lied. Well?

Me, I’m just some guy who had the fortune to be born a US Citizen, I don’t claim personal credit for anything. Pointing out how much the US has sucked for the last 65 years while we were and continue to be the pillar upon which the security of the free world rests seems a tad inappropriate is all.

Credit where it's due doesn't exclude constructive criticism wherever it applies.

https://theconservativetreehouse.co...eets-protesting-to-support-human-rights/Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison Brags About Human Rights During U.N. Speech, While State Police Violently Beat Citizens in The Streets Protesting to Support Human Rights A remarkable contrast video shows the words the Australian Prime Minister delivered during the United Nations General Assembly, while contrasting the brutality that Morrison’s various police units are unleashing in the streets all around Australia. The original version of this video is being throttled by Google [SEE HERE]. However, a Rumble Version has been uploaded. The video used to overlay the speech is actual news footage from the past five days in Australia. In virtually every large metropolitan area in the country, State Police, Riot Squads and jackboots can be found beating citizens who leave their homes or refuse to show their approved transit papers. Australians, who attempt to protest the COVID lockdowns and forced vaccinations, are subject to being shot, beaten, arrested and in come cases of female victims, sexually assaulted by police officers. Australia has descended into totalitarianism, and is not easily the most dystopian state in the former free democratic world. The Taliban in Afghanistan are mild compared to the police units operating in many cities including Melbourne and Sydney. Checkpoints are commonplace everywhere, and quarantine camps for the non-compliant have been established. It is beyond absurd.

I've never seen cops abuse their fellow citizens like shown here: https://twitter.com/randydeactivist/status/1441676904545677317

The Australian Federal Police (Australian version of the FBI) is under the Prime Minister. Also, the various gov't interventions you see in Australia with the virus is State Premiers. State Premiers = US State Governors. Basically the Australian Federation is a copy of the American Federation and that includes the Australian Senate being a copy of the American Senate.
