It's kind of an appropriate reflection of the current political climate and the Biden Presidency that we are shown the alternatives provided by the Biden economic and social policies with the alternatives pictures in the posts of Uncle_Alva and slumlord. Welcome to Bring Back Better.

It’s build back better and that means before you can rebuild you have to knock everything down.

But you will have to use $12 in toilet paper to clean up after that so it costs about the same.

Farmers will have to start puttiing security tags on all their cattle.
I have no direct links, but I have read there are 4 major beef processing plant companies in the US, and they are owned by China. They are unionized and this is where the HUGE rise in beef prices is coming from. Ground beef is over 5 bucks a pound!

Probably safe. 99% wouldn’t know how to get a steak out of one if you gave them the cow, not to mention the work involved.
Had Australian Wagyu from Costco a couple weeks ago. Buddy bought it. Was about $40/lb IIRC, and we got 5 good, 1.5” Ribeye steaks out of the roast
He’s bought Wagyu strip loin before for about $100/lb. I wasn’t really impressed then, but these Ribeyes were the best beef I’ve ever eaten.

That is absolutely the nastiest stuff I could think of putting in my hole. if that's the best you can do...wow. I'm trying to think of a decent response but friend, that is scraping the bottom of the barrel
I just divided a $.99 a pound Boston butt.
Lighten up on the Canuckian cousins beef pricing. They got expenses we don't have down here. We just kill 'em with a hammer, an the Meskins cut 'em up. They have a special guy (Redgwell?) that has to shoot 'em with a .303, and the Paki's cut 'em up ( the dot heads won't, they worships 'em ).

So youre brain dead and oh-so forgetful when I post piles of whole ribeyes I’ve scored several times this summer and posted pics of.
And my incessant conversations about hickory slab pork butt BBQ’ing
Gotcha
Another old varmintguy type retard for the burn pile.

Believe it or not, the tug crews I worked with liked the serrated versions for cutting deck lines and such. Made "sheaths" for them out of duct tape and scheidt and kept one on their PFDs in case their leg got caught in a line and they went overboard with it. Said they were the fastest thing they found for cutting through a 2" diameter deck line. And I think they paid a few bucks each at the local ships chandlery
Were headed towards VEGAN..

Choice.
I've seen choice that looked no roll to prime.
Quite a spread in quality these days.
Thanks Salmonella. I suspected as much, but I totally agree, with choice the it can be a bit too select fo' the money, or ya luck out & get prime, or close enough.
I buy whole loins & that's rolling the dice as far as I know anything about looking over one of those.

LMAO, you did good mentioning amortization. Otherwise that bou cost about
$40 bucks a pound. But like home raised veggies, not about cost per pound. It's quality & satisfaction without reliance on the system. Priceless.

We got 3. That per pound figure goes up when amortizing a 37 year old kid. and 42 years of marriage....

I just divided a $.99 a pound Boston butt.
I've been finding them on sale for .99 regularly here lately. They were as much as $4 per pound regular price back in the summer. Every time they get on sale I buy two and barbecue one and cut the other one up into a couple of little roasts and freeze.

Oh, yeah. Hunting is cheap meat.
Gotta feed the family. Lol! Edk
Be great if the cattleman was making some $$$$! Middleman always gets the ‘ripoff’!
With all the shortage talk & some of the prices I've seen I was getting nervous as I realized we were out of steak & low on burger.
Whew! a sigh of relief when wifey just got back from Sam's. A whole, choice strip loin @ $8.07, 80/20 ground chuck @ $3.27, a little high but it is a bit scarce here lately, & some 90 cent thighs. They too seem to be getting harder to find under a buck, but all a good feeling as I have 35 pounds of meat to vac seal today.
Grilling/barbequing season coming to a close for many, maybe prices will settle some. Just trying to be positive, or maybe just naïve.

How much for one?
Maybe I’ll eat another TV dinner today. One of them shîtpile looking Salisbury steak, all my living in a tin shack ass can afford with my sawing plywood for a living, now on SSI. Or maybe some canned tuna. Just me and the cats, an innanet connection and a home depot bucket to crap in. 🙆🏻♂️
Feeling kinda lazy, hate to mess with the smoker or the genesis, who’s got 10 hours anyway. I need to get back to watching the indictments Lol
Catch ribeyes on the whole, from time to time.

I only eat wild Yukon dall sheep.
No way that toxin laden beef touches my lips.
