Hatchets - 24hourcampfire

Looking for the hatchet maker that uses Vaughn rigging hatchets and makes great carrying hatchets from them.

Best i can recall.

Though there’s a guy that sells them in the classifieds.

Speaking of hatchets, Gary Paulsen, author of "Hatchet" series died last week. Great coming of age books for the young (and old too) outdoorsmen.

Good books for outdoorsy kids and grandkids. Sorry for the threadjack. Carry on.

Depending how handy a guy is, a vise, an angle grinder, and some various wheels the world is your oyster with those things. Not rocket science.

Buy 2 though, [bleep] up one and second one will be awesome. Still cheaper than buying one. Just my $.02

Agreed, gruff. That was my point. If a fella just wants to buy one, fine. Simple tools (the guy in video had a jig to turn his harbor freight angle grinder into a small bench grinder) and some time.

Make it your own.
