It's in great shape to have been made in 1931 and hasn't required extensive rebuilding. Going to be interesting to see what plans he has for it. I can't even get into the drivers seat and have room to drive it. My legs are too long and feet are too big. I want to see it with a dead deer in the bed and mud on the fenders...

The thought that it will be 100 years old in 9 years, I'm getting old fast.

that is a high level of cool, and I am not a Ford guy
Wow! Very nice!
Very Nice, be cool with a Buck in the bed!
A jewel.
GlYour boy used to have some real money. smile

My bet is he has a way to make some money with this old Ford. He is very good at finding a deal and knows his way around cars and trucks. I'll just have to wait and see. I have to admit that it is growing on me, though I've never been a real fan of Fords other than for their utility.
Cool.

Good on him.
Super Cool!

Every time I get a chance to see a truck of this era up close & imagine using it in context of it’s era, I am struck by how small a “truck bed” was. Not much bigger, if any bigger, than the average car trunk of today.

Same surprisingly small payload when you see a “wagon” of the horse drawn age.
Very cool!
Thanks for putting that up for us to see! Very cool investment.......
So cool! What did it set him back?

lovely Pick-up !

Take advantage of it as a backdrop and take family pictures with it.
Just bettin' the "dead deer in the bed and mud on the fenders" part - ain't happnin'.

Cool truck, to say the least!
Electric powered?
Slick looking truck. No check engine light, no abs, I could work on that one. Is it still a 6v with a generator, or has it been swapped over
John Boy Walton drove one of those to Ike Godsey's store.
Very nice!
WOW - Nice!

I don’t know what he paid for it. I try not to get into his business.

The truck is all original with no major repairs or modifications. It was painted at some point in its past but it has been some time ago. He’s not planning on changing anything.

I think he has a few photographers he’s had requests from about using older cars for props in photo shoots. I would imaging that being Red and Black, in Georgia, it would be popular on football game days with a couple of Georgia stickers on the sides.

I can’t imagine driving one of these if you are any taller than 5’6” or have a shoe size bigger than a 10. 😂
WOW!!!
That is a very cool truck
Wow....didn't expect to see that when I opened the post link. As previously said a "Chick Magnet" for sure.

Be nice with a 427, dual quads, upgrade suspension and tires…
I have worked for and drove Fords for the last 25 years but never one that cool!
We had one of those back in the mid '50s. It was our swamp buggy.

Oh that’s hella cool.

Congrats to your son!

Congrats to you for having such a cool kid. 👍🏻
Nice!
Knew that today's dink butt box had to come from some other time and there is the proof.
Put a set of chains on it and it was the 4x4 of its day. My two oldest uncles had the soft top version.
That'd be awesome with a Toyota 4x4 running gear.
Ok, I gotta admit, that's cool AF! I clicked on this thread to say that I can put up with a lot of stupid crap out of my kids, but buying a damn ford is where I draw the line. In your case, I make an exception!
No Ford fan here. (Do like the Fusion I drive🤔)

But that's cool.
Nice to see a Ford in its' regular habitat....on a trailer.

I'm not a Ford guy, but I really like that one.
It probably didn’t look that nice when it was really new.
That’s really cool even for a Ford. 😁
