It's in great shape to have been made in 1931 and hasn't required extensive rebuilding. Going to be interesting to see what plans he has for it. I can't even get into the drivers seat and have room to drive it. My legs are too long and feet are too big. My bet is he has a way to make some money with this old Ford. He is very good at finding a deal and knows his way around cars and trucks. I'll just have to wait and see. I have to admit that it is growing on me, though I've never been a real fan of Fords other than for their utility.

Every time I get a chance to see a truck of this era up close & imagine using it in context of it’s era, I am struck by how small a “truck bed” was. Not much bigger, if any bigger, than the average car trunk of today.
Same surprisingly small payload when you see a “wagon” of the horse drawn age.
