iirc this was the winner of an IRGC contest to avenge Slmni's death. Fortunately for the US, the Iranians were stupid enough to produce a documentary celebrating Slmni's death. It clearly showed he was directly in charge of the various Iraqi militias that killed protesters in Iraq. Needless to say this did not go unnoticed in Iraq.
