iirc this was the winner of an IRGC contest to avenge Slmni's death. Fortunately for the US, the Iranians were stupid enough to produce a documentary celebrating Slmni's death. It clearly showed he was directly in charge of the various Iraqi militias that killed protesters in Iraq. Needless to say this did not go unnoticed in Iraq. The various Iraqi Sunni militias are now more unpopular than ever, and clearly seen as nothing more than IRGC/mullah stooges.
