$5.69 / gallon yesterday ... Medford Oregon. (For those not familiar, that's the SW corner, outside of the liberal band of Eugene, Salem, and Portland that have the population thus run the state's politics.)

(sarcasm on:) Yeah, I'm sure it won't affect food prices at all.....
$5.04 - $5.09 mostly.
Bought 10 gallons of 90 Octane to top my wife's AC1100 Turbo snowmachine out for over-summer storage. That was over $5.50/gal. Used 6, will feed the rest to the Yamaha outboard later, mixed with 87. Used to buy 100 Av gas at over $8 in Kotzebue to mix with the 87, as 90/91 (recommended) wasn't available. Avgas there is probably well north (pardon the pun) of $10 now, I bet.
Being married to a fast woman is expensive!
But not as expensive as filling up my 2003 truck a couple months ago with gas.
It's a Cummins diesel. That 18 gallons ran me almost $800 in lost fuel, tow bill, purge.
Seemed to like it too, except a little reluctant about starting, which was the first clue.........
She did the same about 18 years back - same truck, so I lost another "talking point", dammit!
Good engines those Cummins, but my advice?
Don't do that.
$5.29 for diesel, and $4.03 for 86 octane unleaded, this morning.

Two were sold out of diesel... the third had it at $5.02.
Filled up yesterday... Still had 30% left in the tank... $180 to fill up... While I was there, I placed a "I DID THAT" Joe Biden sticker on the pump... I keep a few in the truck and use 'em every time I fill up...
EFF J. B., and every one of those who voted for that POS....
Just filled my tundra up, god damn man. Diesel is over $5 here.
I stopped by the gas station on my way home to refill my 100 gallon L tank.
Normally I go to the co-op and use an issued fuel card that has no limit. But the co-op is $0.22 higher so I said F that and went to the Town Pump.
I have to use the farm CC(Visa) at the Town Pump. It goes to $125 and shuts off. Lame.
I then decide to try my personal CC(AmEx), it went to $175 and shut off. Not quite as lame.
So the shut-off amount is CC dependent?
For some reason I thought it was up to the gas station.
Gonna have to talk to the CC company and get the limit raised up to $500. Hopefully they will, pain in the ass running the card 4 times to fill the tank...
Beat you Jud!
lol
Thought this chit was funny.
Last time I looked it was around $5.14.9
I notice today as I was driving that diesel here is about 5.25. Was thinking I glad I use gasoline.
$5.69 in central KS yesterday.

From what I’ve seen it’s gas station dependent. I only use our Alaska airlines CC, some stations are $100, some $125, some unlimited far as I can tell Sam
Drove home from Boise yesterday, ranged from $5.14 to $5.85 at stations we passed.. Glad we had the wife’s 4Runner.
Diesel affects everything and everybody - even if you drive a moped.
Price surge affects what? The Spread is whack
Most people have no idea what is coming with these nutbag energy costs.
Every market... every sector...
$5.48 and up depending ,in Prescott Az.

The fertilizer issue is larger - IMO.
The admin is saying that the fert shortage and massive price spikes is good because then farmers will switch to the old fashioned natural ways. Idiots. Millions might starve without synthetic fertilizers. It's what's allowed the world to increase yield and feed more people than ever on smaller and smaller allocations of land for agrarian use.
$5.29 and rising here. How in the He!! can some people think this F'ed up energy crisis is in any way ok. Some people really think we can exist and survive on wind, solar and no fertilizer. WTF.
Fuel to make cement... crush/haul rocks, built/fix roads bridges/dams.
Smelt steel.
Fishermen that are in negative profit margins just to fish.
Farmers in negative profit margins just to farm.
Logging will shrink substantially.
Industries close... no parts... no new equipment.
Transportation... planes, trains, freight, ships... military jets/tanks.
Some very real chit is going down.

Good point...
Horse chit on .GOV.
If making a widget/growing a crop takes 80% effort/materials/equipment and a 20% return is realized... that is normal. That is a margin (profit).
If making a widget/growing a crop takes 120% effort/materials/equipment and a negative 20% return is realized... that is collapse.
$6.00 a gallon for home heating oil, $6.79 for on road fuel.
$6.00 a gallon for home heating oil,..........
Woof... Thank God I put in 200 gallons in December - at $3.40/gallon... That'll last me for 2.5+ years..
Interesting article there Steve
See above for another - the Price surge piggybacks off the spread is whack.
