Here's what I don't get...when oil prices spiked in the first months after Obama started to destroy the country, they hit almost $130/bbl (
https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=pet&s=f000000__3&f=m), but gas prices at their height were in the low $4/gallon range nationally at that time (
https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=pet&s=emm_epm0_pte_nus_dpg&f=w).
Oil prices today are in the $120 range yet gas prices, nationally, are at $5/gal.
20% increase at the same basic price for the primary input (crude oil)...why?
It sure ain't cause of Putin, cause that would show up in the price of crude, which is actually lower now than in 2008. Shutting down refineries, hiking taxes and regulations, those are the things that explain the 20% price difference, and their all thanks to FJB.
