Hiden Biden’s Response:

β€œ Biden responds to $5 gas: 'Outrageous what the war in Ukraine is causing' 😑😑😑
Imagine the alternative gas is $1.89 made here in the us all it takes is more votes than any candidate in history to put us in today’s schit show that every body knows about but nothing can be done
Sycamore’s picks aim to impress.

LOL

Fugking idiot.
Yes. Shutting down out drilling and pipeline construction had no effect at all.
He's loving every minute of it and would love to see it $10 a gallon. The middle class ain't hurting bad enough for him yet.
Here's what I don't get...when oil prices spiked in the first months after Obama started to destroy the country, they hit almost $130/bbl (https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=pet&s=f000000__3&f=m), but gas prices at their height were in the low $4/gallon range nationally at that time (https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=pet&s=emm_epm0_pte_nus_dpg&f=w).

Oil prices today are in the $120 range yet gas prices, nationally, are at $5/gal.

20% increase at the same basic price for the primary input (crude oil)...why?

It sure ain't cause of Putin, cause that would show up in the price of crude, which is actually lower now than in 2008. Shutting down refineries, hiking taxes and regulations, those are the things that explain the 20% price difference, and their all thanks to FJB.

You are correct...

My guess is that when gas hits $12 a gallon and diesel hits $15 a gallon the EV pipe dream can POSSIBLY become viable on a large scale.

The pain that is coming... is going to be surreal for many...
WTF happened to - going to hydrogen? Wasn't that the plan?
March on Washington?

So, uh, if we helped Putin by keeping our $50 billion and gave it to the folks to buy gas, Zelensky would lose his ass and prices would go down?

Uh, no. The plan was to destroy the US economy, and its working.

When they become the tyranny, then it is time to remove all of them.
Gas is almost as much as the new dowsized bag of doritos..
I was chatting with my son last night. He is an engineer at the largest refinery in the country. He said they are making money hand over fist relative to their plan that expected demand to fall off. It hasn't and, in particular, diesel hasn't. They are twice what was targeted at year end.

Great intel... thanks.

Direct correlation stuff there...

i.e. inflation
Just caught a swift glimpse of the reasons why gas has gone over $5/gallon in 20 states. None of the reasons involve failed liberal policies! Those doggone Russians, Covidians and lack of refinery capacity!
I can't understand why dems are not removed. Lot of stupid people that love chaos.

The liberal policies are doing it. Chevron's CEO said there will likely never be another refinery made in the USA. The last one made was about 50 yrs ago. As for oil being $130? 13 yrs ago , and now its about the same price . However it is 75 cents more . The profits need to go up to compensate for having no profits for a long time. No way can anyone make money on $1.00 gas when the tax in Wisconsin is 52 cents. That is about a 52% tax and the government has the nerve to say the oil companies are gouging. Encourage drilling in the USA and get the idiot government off their backs, build refineries and make sure they are done in 4 yrs. cause if the idiot dems take back D.C. they will shut it down when it's half done . As for everyone complaing, I saw more $100,000 boats on Lake Winnebago for a tournament than I have ever seen . A 250 horse was about the avr. size outboard. My 32 yr. old Alumacraft V16' with a 25 horse Merc . made some strange looking stares at me. I was not in the contest , however, to my surprise a nice looking blonde waved at me with an honest smile. Honest she wasn't laughing at me. The avr. truck in the lot was not less than an F150 and the Chevy Duramax diesel was the most popular. Tells me there is money out there and $5 diesel does not matter much. There was at least 100 boats.

We're riding out the tail-end of the greatest economy in decades, that's why people are still spending. It will come to an end and the screaming, gnashing of teeth and wailing will follow.
"Every cloud has a silver lining" -- John Milton...

As much as fossil fuel prices are hurting individuals and families, as well as devastating to our overall economy, my thinking is that that will be the single biggest reason Democrats and Neocons are going to experience their biggest political 'Waterloo' event ever at the midterms and 2024.
