To iron those ties, especially for getting the wrinkles out after changing the neighbor's tire and then the tie gets caught in the canning jar, while your lighting yourself on fire in your nice Brooks Brother's suit?
At least one, and another in the cabin.
Yes but easier taking them to the cleaners, I like my button up shirts starched.
Duh!!! How else am I going to iron my Confederate stars and bars flag every week??

I knew it! Are they the kind you put on the wood stove to heat up?
Only for grill cheese sandwiches.
I still have one from using it & a damp cloth to raise dents in wood stocks.
Yeah, but it never sees any action. I think it's an 80's model.
I have one, and an ironing board to go with it. Can't remember the last time I used it though
The wife is in charge of chit like that.
Hell yes, wifey will not stand for a wrinkle. I have mine done at cleaners.

Especially when you're goin' out boot scootin' and belt buckle polishin'?
A local Lady had what I think was a, Mangle. It ironed bedsheets for their apartments.

I have a hair dryer that gets used on the muzzleloader after a cleaning or when it gets wet hunting.

Don't have an iron tho.

So, you're a grill cheese, not toasted cheese sammich kinda guy?

You like a slice of ham in them sometimes too?

Somehow I'm not surprised Richard.

Do you iron ties with it?

Underwear? wink
The wife has one that gets used infrequently for its intended purpose.

I have one for dents in wood stocks.
When wife does cross stitch, she irons it when done.
My wife keeps one handy just for throwin at me!
A clothes iron? I don't, but my wife does. I do have 3 soldering irons...
Yep sure do. That thing gets less use than my exercise bike.
Oh heck yes. Wife steam irons all her clothes for work Sunday evening in back room. I Still have a selection of dress shirts that I use spray starch on as well. Ill even iron the dockers if goin to a nice restaurant or some get together.

Got great grannies cast iron iron around here somewheres, the ones you put on the wood stoves to heat.
We have one, on a shelf, covered with a nice layer of dust.

Yes sir!
I'm pretty sure my bride uses hers every week.
I've never used one.
Not under my purview.

I do too but I got tired of getting my shirts back with broken buttons so I iron them myself. I also iron my jeans because the cleaners never had the seam in the same place. I learned how to iron because my mom wouldn't iron my jeans.
I will ask my wife and get back to you. I know how to iron, and made spending money in college by ironing shirts for the guys in residence.
Wife has one and uses it occasionally
My late wife had a steam iron. It is still here. I don't use it. When something I wear needs ironing, I take it to the cleaners. Maybe I ought to put the steam iron and ironing board in a garage sale ... if I ever have a garage sale. smile

L.W.
My wife uses one a fair bit with her sewing.
expandable wood one
One in the house, one in the 5th wheel. Why walk around looking like Joe Schmidt the rag man.

Same here sammo
Yes. It took me awhile to find it though. It was hiding under 2 inches of dust.
We do,and an ironing board, don t use it much since oldest daughter moved out,but i m sure it will get used once the youngest starts going out.
An ironing board makes a good fish cleaning table.
We do,and an ironing board too.
There's 1 usable electric steam iron and an
ironing board in the east room. The only use
lately has been iron on patches for holes in
a garment with useful life still.
Holes get bigger the more you wash the garment
if left unmended.
Had 2 sad irons at one time. I'm sure I have
one left. An old girlfriend kept 1 along with a
good iron pot and an expensive cappuccino
machine when she bugged out
