Oh heck yes. Wife steam irons all her clothes for work Sunday evening in back room. I Still have a selection of dress shirts that I use spray starch on as well. Ill even iron the dockers if goin to a nice restaurant or some get together.
Got great grannies cast iron iron around here somewheres, the ones you put on the wood stoves to heat.

Yes but easier taking them to the cleaners, I like my button up shirts starched. I do too but I got tired of getting my shirts back with broken buttons so I iron them myself. I also iron my jeans because the cleaners never had the seam in the same place. I learned how to iron because my mom wouldn't iron my jeans.

I will ask my wife and get back to you. I know how to iron, and made spending money in college by ironing shirts for the guys in residence.

My late wife had a steam iron. It is still here. I don't use it. When something I wear needs ironing, I take it to the cleaners. Maybe I ought to put the steam iron and ironing board in a garage sale ... if I ever have a garage sale. L.W.

Yes. It took me awhile to find it though. It was hiding under 2 inches of dust.

An ironing board makes a good fish cleaning table.

There's 1 usable electric steam iron and an ironing board in the east room. The only use lately has been iron on patches for holes in a garment with useful life still. Holes get bigger the more you wash the garment if left unmended. Had 2 sad irons at one time. I'm sure I have one left. An old girlfriend kept 1 along with a good iron pot and an expensive cappuccino machine when she bugged out
