It’s another 104 for the high today in my part of central Texas, what’s the high today in your location?
Supposed to hit 105 today in the Salt Lake valley
80 and partly cloudy with a dew point in the mid 40's.
75 degrees and sunny. We’ve had a lot of hot weather but it’s been really nice the past few days.
High of 92 this afternoon in northeast Montana.
Fairly normal for mid July.
Calling for a 100% chance of severe thunderstorms tonight. We a had a honker blow in last night and dumped 1.5" of rain, gonna be muggy this afternoon but I don't care. Taking the rest of the day off, it's a mudhole!
It ain't a 100 today, but it's damn sure hot. I've been taking a couple of showers, and going through 3 - 4 shirts a day.
Here in Maine, 75*, sunny, humidity is always the problem
all the way up to 48%, but I did have a tick on me last night.
After a high temp last week of 104 here in Indy, we've finally gotten some much needed rain along with more seasonal temps.
High of 81 today, low of 64. Sure beats 95.
99* out here in Midland.
It’s going to be 106* Monday, then cool off to the mid 90’s.
Average for here.
Beauty of a day here about 75 + sunny
We could use some rain, lawn is pretty dry
103 here now, headed for 114!
63* and headed all the way to 66 today.
Feels like is 62*! 👍
Cold front. Only 103_today.
96 today after several days of 100+
Calling for a high of 77 here today. It's 76 right now. Another nice day.
I dunno LBP. But Im out attending to chores in the pasture. It’s hot!!! Probably going to have to set up auxiliary water tanks out here next week for cattle and deer! Tanks and creeks are dried up!
98 Today and 100 tomorrow. 103-105 all next week to Sunday.
Should get up to 95 today, 12% relative humidity puts us in a red flag fire warning.
Calling for a high of 77 here today. It's 76 right now. Another nice day.
As of 2 pm it was 68 with a slight breeze on Grindstone Island. I'm looking forward to getting up there with all you damn Yankees.
Currently 83 and cloudy but forecast is 89. Beats the 100+ we’ve been seeing and will have in a few days.
Already 102 here. Supposed to get to 103 or 104.
I’m guessing more like 106. Was 107 here yesterday. 🤪

About right.
A year ago we were in Jax to see our new grandbaby. 90*, 90%.
Total suckage.
100.5F right now, but all the humidity has the heat index at 115. Pretty rough on HVAC systems.
111 in the Valley Of The Sun .... aka Phoenix metro. But it's a dry heat.
My thermometer has 101 in the shade. Computer says heat index is 112.
Since June it has been over 100 or close to it around here.
The wind if blowing less than 30-40 mph is not bad but some days it feels like someone left the blowdryer on high.
It will wear you out quick.
6:20 and still 103 in the shade here. Got some fence line cleaned and a feeder moved. Then I grilled two fabulous T-Bones on the grill. ( yeah I built a fire). Washed down witha very nice yet unassuming Cabernet. 🤣
Life be good!
I’d feel bad for you guys but five months from now when it’s 20 degrees here you’ll all be sittin’ good.

Yeah. I don’t know why I still live here. 111 for the next 5 days except for 115 forecast for Monday.
98 with a gazillion percent humidity. It’s pretty miserable.
Currently 69f here in the thumb.
The humidity has been brutal the past few days.
Strong thunderstorms popped up a few hours ago, generator humming as power out for the whole ridge.
We hit 105 in the sun, 101 in the shade 🥵 ….but with low humidity.
However, I spent about 8 hours building forms, mixing and pouring concrete! This old man is wasted! ☹️ memtb
107° here in Big D today with high humidity. Brutal.
107° here in Big D today with high humidity. Brutal.
Big D sucks in the summertime. Well, actually, it sucks year round. 😜. Use to spend a couple of weeks there every summer with my cousins when we were kids. We’d go to Six Flags about every other day. They always had season passes.
Sorry your still stuck there, High Noon.
Hope your Father is doing better.
Only got to 106 here today. But we don’t have the humidity like y’all do.
113 here today. Surface of the sun....
You must be back in Idaho, Ed.
Right at 100* earlier. Bad line of storms about to roll through so that should cool things down a bit. The a/c has been going pretty much full bore since noon.
107° here in Big D today with high humidity. Brutal.
How dem chiggums?
No chiggers. Yet.
I ran into a patch of 'em a few years back near Abilene. I just had to run out in back of the barn to grab a couple of T-posts so I didn't dust down with sulfur - and they got me good. Even got me on the ballsac. It was miserable for a few weeks.
They're worse than poison ivy.
Thinkin' real hard about WY for the future. I hate this heat.
We made it up to 94 in NOLA today.
You must be back in Idaho, Ed.
Yep.

Only got to 106 here today. But we don’t have the humidity like y’all do.
Thanks, Bud. Took my daughter down to Deep Ellum today to go to Adairs Saloon and then to get her a T-shirt and some Beignets. The heat was brutal, but it was a good time with the daughter and this made up for the heat:
I don't know how long I'll be here, but the heat and humidity takes a serious toll. At least in El Paso the humidity is very low and even when it's 107° it's not nearly as bad if you can find some shade. Big D is far worse. But the sun in EP is far more brutal than Dallas - probably due to the elevation.
Dad's about the same, but I'm afraid he hasn't much time. Thanks for asking.
I’d feel bad for you guys but five months from now when it’s 20 degrees here you’ll all be sittin’ good.
I told my wife we need to be summer birds and head north every May and return to Texas come October.😉

Not at all.
ID is beautiful and probably closer but northern MI isn’t bad either. Lots of great fishing, public forest, ATV trails, snowmobile trails, coast, sand dunes, golf courses and other other outdoor activities.
Ahh. Chickens are doing well with their new feeder and waterer, + the fan I set up for them to beat the heat.
Looks like that’s what you do too
Indeed, since 2005. Back then we headed south to Idaho when we could to leave the Calgary cold. I'll trade snow for cold any day.

👍
My phone will show 95, then adds, "feels like 107"....
How do it know?
Kinda like a speed dating inquisition.....
So, how long were you married?.....10 years, felt like 60.
Power still out. Generator keeping the a/c running.
Today's high is gonna be 64, which is 15+ degrees lower than the average. Low pressure system knocking it down, but still didn't get any real rain. Dry as a bone up in here.
Power still out. Generator keeping the a/c running.
Generator still running. Power went out 20 hrs ago. Gas bill is gonna be high this month.
Just now;
Yeah. I really don’t think it matters much Blue. Hot is hot. Up to 112 now as if that makes any difference.
Power still out. Generator keeping the a/c running.

Seen line crews from 2 other states today. Close to 24 hrs without power.
