Getting a stye, lower right eyelid sucks. What do you do for the?
Mom used to lance them with a needle.
Iโve never had one but thought I had one starting last week. Same eye, same place. It never turned into anything to speak of.
That young thang has different chemicals, or, an STD. Good luck & hope it was worth it.
It would be for me & I ain't never had a stye either.
guess I'll have to put up with it for a few days.
"A red, painful lump near the edge of the eyelid that may look like a boil or pimple.
A stye can develop after the small glands that line the eyelid get plugged.
Styes are often filled with pus. Sometimes a stye can form on the inner part of the eyelid.
In most cases, a stye will begin to disappear on its own in a few days. A warm washcloth applied to the eyelid may relieve pain and discomfort."
Put a hot wash rag on it for awhile, then stick the head of it with a needle like Jim Conrad said.
It'll be gone soon after.

Yeah I put a steaming hot wash cloth on em so they get good and juicy then I stab em w/ a needle.
Rub the tail of a black cat on it (mountain folklore). Tried it, but don't remember if it worked or not
Just do warm and moist ( not hot enough to burn your skin) compresses. 2-3 times a hour for 3-4 hours and it will burst and go away
Moist wash cloth in microwave works
Do not lance it. Not necessary. To much risk of corneal injury. Iโve seen it happen
Just compress and massage it. Yours is almost there and it will go away when it pops
See 1-2 every day in er
My dad said you get them from peeing in the road.....grin
He would rub a gold ring on them to pop 'em....

BS flag on that one! I've got years of experience peeing in the road at camp and never got one.
Get them all the time since laser surgery. Hot rag compress, lance it. Fugkin sucks.
I've had them a good number of times. Warm damp compress is the go. I usually use a teabag - make a cup of black tea with a teabag and hold the teabag on your eye while you drink the tea. I start with it as hot as I can stand and hold it in place until the teabag's at room temperature.
Failing that, a clean cloth, moist and heated in the microwave (or moistened with water from the kettle) will do, though I believe the tannin in the tea helps.
I definitely would not lance it. Too much risk of injury. I've never needed to do it either. I am not, however, a doctor.
I hear getting smacked in the eye with a cinder block works. I can't vouch for that method.

A black pussy will either cure it or make you forget about it.

Maybe the other lacerations acquired during this procedure takes oneโs mind off the original ailment.

My Dad jokingly claimed the same thing.๐

I've only had a couple in my life. I'm not advising anybody,....but I've always just held a warm wet cloth on them, and afterwards given them a mighty squeeze,...them applied hydrogen peroxide with a Q-tip to the affected area.
My understanding of them is, they're the result of an irritating crumb of something that has gotten under your eyelid, worked it's way into the soft tissue under it, and stirred up a minor infection.
Or possibly, something that's irritated the hair follicle on one of your eyelashes. It might help to take a pair of tweezers and pluck out the eyelash closest to it before you do the Dr Pimple Popper routine on it.
But I ain't no Doctor. So everything I advise might be totally off base.
Hot water and wash with Johnsons baby shampoo . Not a STD .
Dang!!! That is hideous......and the stye looks bad, too!
STX'll post a pic of *anything*.

I keep seeing spots in front of my eyes...
The receptionist asked if I've ever seen an eye doctor?
I told her, "No just spots."
