Not a line, but the best introduction to a movie…

“Unforgiven”

"She was a comely young woman and not without prospects. Therefore it was heartbreaking to her mother that she would enter into marriage with William Munny, a known thief and murderer, a man of notoriously vicious and intemperate disposition. When she died, it was not at his hands as her mother might have expected, but of smallpox. That was 1878."

Hard to beat that one from the Duke. 👍🏻

Oh yeah, that movie is my favorite tied with Jeremiah Johnson.

The Outlaw Josie Wales has so many friggin good lines though.

Pretty much the first 1/2 of Full Metal Jacket.

All of The Blues Brothers

"Greed is good" speech in Wall St.

The board room scene in Margin Call
Two: from Silverado: "I never enjoyed killing a man"
and from Righteous kill: "fuq you you fuggin fuq"
There are a lot of good ones so far. Heck, it would be difficult just to pick one's favorite from the many in both The Outlaw Josey Wales and Tombstone. However, my favorite was always from the movie "The Mountain Men" from the conversation between Nathan Wyeth (John Glover) and Henry Frapp (Brian Keith).

Henry Frapp: I thought you got lost again.

Nathan Wyeth: Haven't you ever been lost?

Henry Frapp: Hmmm... been fearsome confused for a month or two, but I ain't never been lost!

My runner up is from William Munny (Clint Eastwood) in "Unforgiven".

“It’s a hell of a thing, killing a man. You take away everything he’s got and everything he’s ever gonna have.”

,...the expression on Clemenza's face at 4:18

From the Unforgiven:
