None at all. Unplug the tv from your wall and throw that pos in the dump. Play some music. Retards get sucked into the flashing lights of a tv. Music can be background stuff. Life is better without telavivesion

If you werent half a retard yourself, youd realize ispelled it that way on purpose. I suppose i could have called it talmudvision so the more simple type folks here would get the implication.

I couldn't agree more, I have 3 TV's in my house. One in the master bedroom which hasn't been turned on in over 3 years. One in living room which only Come on when the grandkids come over and the weather is too crappy to hang out side with them. One in my gunroom/office that is hooked up to my security camera feeds.
Fuggin heathens. The only acceptable choice is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation if a move must be shown. The unwashed masses simply don't know any better. Yet.

No doubt. If talking Christmas movies it’s the best. It’s the only one that I’ll watch.
We watch The Parade together. Have a ridiculous meal w great desserts. After about an hour of good conversation amongst the 25-35 of us, the musicalities commence. There will be 6-8 guitar players, mandolin picker and a real good fiddle player. We have just a heck of a good time. Been a tradition since I was a kid. Our kids and grands now right in the middle of it. That’s the good stuff!

That sounds awesome. Especially the mandolin and fiddle.

Damn! Sounds good.
My name aint Clyde...but I play electric bass.
Let me know if your ensemble needs a bassman.
Sure wish you were closer to this part of the area! It is a large time!
When I was a kid, they always ran King Kong, Mighty Joe Young, and The March of the Wooden Soldiers on Thanksgiving. Those were the movies we kids watched every Thanksgiving. Why, I don't know.

Exactly. Always have at least one of these on in my home every Thanksgiving.
When the inlaw great grandparents were still alive the old men and creepy sex offender uncle always had the last Darlington or Talladega race on the VHS and that would run for 3 hours it seemed.
I’d start smashing rum and coke on the 40 min drive to that dump to cope when i got there. Old man always be saying “wadda ya know Red”?? Wth lol

I'm curling up with Ken Water's Pet loads, a few years' back issues of the NMLRA rag and Herr Muledeer's Gun Gack IV. That should hold me until the football starts.
"Home for the Holidays" with Holley Hunter, Robert Downey Jr, Charles Durning and Anne Bancroft. Funny as hell and a pretty realistic movie about having all your weird relatives over for the big meal!
That was my plan but "Debbie does Dallas" trumped it.
Never heard of it? Is it a good movie? How does your grandchildren like it? Need something to occupy their minds. It's raining here today so no sending them outside.

It is an "action" movie and the plot is thin. I don't have kids so I don't know anything about Grandkids.

I just looked it up online and think I need to do some preparation for watching it..... upload images
There's a sequel to the original A Christmas Story out on HBO Max (blame my wife for that subscription). I saw it last week and was shocked. It's a nice update on the characters from the original but the most amazing thing was that they didn't replace all the straight, white characters with wokeness. It was like going back to a better time in the country and if you liked the original it's fun to see the original characters all growed up.

Well, that's a little harder core than my thoughts
I just figured one could find a good R rated movie with some T&A flashes, enough to keep the teenage boys occupied and not ogling their teenage girl 2nd cousins.

Saw the preview last night. Ralphy looks pretty much the same. 🤪
" Filmed in 1976 and released in 1978, this now-overlooked and forgotten TV movie was based on an outstanding novel named The Melodeon by Glendon Swarthout.
Rural Minnesota during the Great Depression is the setting for this haunting tale of a miracle on Christmas Eve 1939. While a fierce blizzard rages, a 13 year-old boy, his curmudgeonly grandfather, loving neighbours and a mysterious night visitor work together and a marvellous gift is given.
A good cast includes Jason Robards and Eva Marie Saint as the Larsons with Joanne Woodward making a cameo early on as Rusty's mother. Apologies for the poorer quality after the 14 minute mark. This was never released on DVD and this Christmas 1996 TV broadcast was the last time it was shown in Australia. It is typical of the VHS recordings that have kept this forgotten gem alive in the hearts of its small cult following. "
I didn't know Thanksgiving movies are a tradition, this time of year I start watching either one of the grumpy old men movies. Love both of them
Some funny schitt right there. Matthau and Lemmon were fuggin hilarious !
Never saw it. But I’m not surprised a little bitty F.aggot Ankle Biter like you would eat that Pedo schitt up. You go little man. Must suck to be eat up with envy and Little Man Syndrome both. 😂😂😂
