There's a sequel to the original A Christmas Story out on HBO Max (blame my wife for that subscription). I saw it last week and was shocked. It's a nice update on the characters from the original but the most amazing thing was that they didn't replace all the straight, white characters with wokeness. It was like going back to a better time in the country and if you liked the original it's fun to see the original characters all growed up.
Eliminate qualified immunity and you'll eliminate cops who act like they are above the law.

This was never released on DVD and this Christmas 1996 TV broadcast was the last time it was shown in Australia. It is typical of the VHS recordings that have kept this forgotten gem alive in the hearts of its small cult following. "
