Nope.

I was a intermediate offender, I got whacks back when child abuse was legal.

Once it was 3 whacks for gluing a chair to the floor and consequently destroying a couple of floor tiles.

I knew nothing of the event until I was accused and beaten for it.
Never heard it spoken of afterwards either, a complete mystery.

Next was a two whack offense for barely, technically smoking in a non designated zone. There was a paved parking area that was designated for 'student smoking'. I still had one foot on the grass as I lit up when I was stepping onto the pavement.

I was reported by the same teacher for both offenses, he and I didn't get along very well.

Never. I guess I should have tried harder??

Thrice for fistfights. I was a nerdy kid with a small but cool group of friends. Hated school but liked getting good grades and going to a top college was a really big deal to me. I didn’t get into a top college but was accepted to a decent one (MSU) despite being dyslexic. I mostly respected teachers and wasn’t a problem in class but bent some rules and got into some fights.

Never got kicked out.

I got ISS (in school suspension) a handful of times for showing up late and unexcused absences. I guess they figured kicking me out would have been a reward, not a punishment.

I graduated with a 3.6 GPA for the year so I argued that it didn't matter that I was missing some days. They didn't see it that way, haha.

I was a habitual offender on dip and chew for the most part had an underground cartel so to speak selling cigarettes in jr high🤣got caught many times.
Assistant dyke principle would call me up to the office randomly over the intercom to bring my book bag for a search.I’d hide the schiit behind the toilet in the boys room🤣🤣.
She wised up to that schit real quick and would do random pop up personal escort to the office🤦‍♂️.
The last time she searched she found nothing and truly thinked me for telling the truth.I turned around and was walking out the door and she said I didn’t check your back pockets😳dip cam behind the wallet

Suspended ? Several times. Heck ! I was asked to quit high school ! Not kidding about that either. I did because the principal was correct. If I had stayed there would have been a half dozen friends who wouldn’t have graduated on time.

Separate time I got escorted out by the police right after the columbine fiasco.Me and a friend always talked reloading bs sharing loads and what not talking cartridge specs.Happened to have camo bib overalls on with a front pocket zipper one day on delivery of something he’d cooked up for me to try about 20 rds.

Yep, once for fighting grade school, and once for fighting junior high. Twice in high school for fighting, both times with a cousin. We just went home and bucked hay, as punishment. At the time I thought it was normal.

We had a mom and pop Italian restaurant a block down the street from our HS. They had an old school cig vending machine. We’d walk in and ask the host for $3 in quarters. “You don’t want change for the cigarette machine right.” “No.”

We never got in any trouble for fighting in school. As long as you stopped throwing punches when the teacher told you to break it up then it was over.

A few kids pushed it and got suspended for things like disobedience to a teacher but that was it. Those were the good old days when boys could be boys as long as they respected those in authority.

Yep, we had a couple of tushes that would look for folks they could give a hard time. You generally just had to deal with them one time how ever it turned out. Those that didn’t would be on a rotating roster depending their mood.

Too many times to count. Fighting, skipping school, alcohol on school property, smoking on school property. Probably a couple things I forgot.

When I was in school back in the 90’s most fights happened after school. Walking home knowing that someone was looking to pick a fight or jump you with a group of friends was still typical stuff. In some ways for the better and some for the worst that’s changed. Getting jumped and flipping the script or having friends across the street ready to jump in was big time bragging rights.

We had a good sized creek behind our high school. A bunch of us would keep drop lines in our school supplies. When the stripe were running there would have to be a teacher back there checking for folks during classes!

Yup senior year in high school. Got booted for 5 days for skipping school in early June. My girlfriend and now wife of 52 years skipped school in Burlington and took the ferry across Lake Champlain to New York State to spend the day on a beach and drink. Vermont had 21 drinking age and New York was 18. It was a really warm day and it just seemed like the right thing to do. The suspension wasn't that big a deal since we both had all the credits to graduate and didn't need to go to class. That week was spent on Vermont beaches rather than sit in a classroom.

Yep, 7th grade.
While on the playground another kid kicked me in the balls and ran off. I caught up with him and beat the schitt out of him.
Got called to the vice principal's office for it where he tried to paddle my ass. I told him I was not going to take a paddling for what I considered self defense.
When he tried to force the issue I took the paddle away from him. He then tried to slap me.
At that time I stood a little over 6 feet tall and weighed about 210 pounds and could bench 300. He was probably no more than 5 1/2 foot tall and maybe a buck thirty for weight.
When he, foolishly, tried to slap me I pinned him to the floor. He literally cried like a little girl.
Got suspended. After explaining the situation to the principal the next day, i was back in school with a written apology from the vice principal.
Dad told me he was very proud of me for standing up and defending myself.
It was a very different world back then.

I was permanently expelled from high school health class for pointing out errors in the lecture.
The teacher was the basketball coach.
I had to go to another high school to graduate.

As I was losing my first schoolyard fight a Nun was watching quietly from the circle. I was sorta hoping she would intervene, but no luck. When the fight was over the Nun stepped in and slapped the living crap out of the winner. I saw it happen again about once a year, and always the young kids. The sheer brilliance of that, and in a tough neighborhood, probably cut the schoolyard fighting down by 90%. Nobody wants to get lit up by a Nun.

Seriously, I was the biggest and strongest kid in school at that time. I did most of my growing between 10 and 14. Didn't grow much at all after 14 years of age.

Once for 3 days. A couple times in school suspension. Sitting in a classroom with other offenders for the day seemed like stupid punishment. Still made football practice afterwards.

I got the oar twice - once for popping off at teacher, and the other for pantsing the calisthenics leader in gym in front of everyone.

Seven times second semester of my junior year for fighting. Would not take crap from seniors. Kept letting me back in because I was a straight "A" student and they thought I had potential. I now feel bad for Mom. She had to have been mighty embarrassed because of me.

No, my baseball coach was the vice principle, he saved my butt twice. If I’d have gotten suspended my parents would have beat me to death.

Well I'm 65 years old, back in the day when we got in trouble at school we had a choice. get suspended or take your whacks from the Vice principle. I would always take the whacks. Go into Mr. Leons office and bend over his chair at his desk. He would wind up pretty good and lite you up. The worse the offense, the more whacks you got. But when it was done it was over like you never did anything wrong. He would just remind you on the way out of his office. "I don't want to see you in here again boy." That paddle would leave raised red whelps on your ass. Today they would probably charge him with child abuse.

Came close, drag racing in the parking lot after a basketball game. Banned from driving to school again. I won the race.

Yes, for smoking, sneaking off school grounds, disobeying teachers several times went to 3 different schools in a small town.

Almost, in my senior year for smoking in the lavatory. At the break between classes the lavatory was the place to go for a few drags. There were about 10 of us puffing on 2 cigs. There was always a "spotter" who was on the lookout for teachers. If one was spotted the spotter turned the lights off. So this ag teacher runs in & turns the lights on, room is filled with smoke, & I'm the one closest to the door, so that makes me the guilty one. Long story short, my 5 ft. tall 120 lb. mom has a meeting next day with the principal, ag teacher, & me. She got in both of their faces & took control of the situation, they backed off, my punishment was to do a special project essay, & I got an A+ from the ag teacher that busted me.

I had in school suspension for drinking at the state fair. We went to the state fair as a field trip.
