Manwich Original or Bold. Best there is. No need to venture further.
End of story.

With a Sesame seed bun, some shredded cheddar and some spicy mustard. Easy and good. Some Tater tots for a side.

End of story.

The Bold has twice as much sugar as Original, but otherwise is the same sheit.

My mom has her own recipe that includes mushroom soup and diced dill pickles. Not bad but very unique. However, that's all I knew until I left home and tried Manwich.
She brags on how much everyone loves her sloppy joe. I'm certainly not going to tell her any different.
This is the best I've tried

Wife made that last night using a pound of venison burger. Excellent!
Picked up a good hint a few years ago to sprinkle in a teaspoon of corn starch to thicken it up. Add some good hot sauce and it is a great treat.
We four brothers loved Sloppy Joe's growing up.

No one else will eat them here now but me. frown

Dei Fratelli brand has a very good canned sauce. We use it at a lower amount per pound of burger than suggested.

Yep, I'll have to agree on this one. ...End-of-Story!
Good stuff Tikkanut. I keep a couple of cans of Campbell's chicken gumbo in the pantry for sloppy joes. Gumbo soup, ketchup and a squirt of yellow mustard. Top with a slice of white American cheese. Yumm

Glad you liked it... I usually make 6 or 9 lb batches and freeze it in ziploc bags... Makes for a quick lunch or late supper...

It maybe needs a bit of brown sugar mixed in.

No roaches were harmed during the making of this recipe. Can Paisano’s say the same? LOL!
