Are those barrels on the AL, silver mallards, LT and whatever ect ect ect 390 versions interchangeable with a straight 390?

But have heard the 303 or B80 barrel mods from several to fit a 390 receiver.
Have no desire to do that or be limited to a 2.75 chamber.

Any of the AL barrels will work. If you can get one without chokes, Briley will choke it for you. They do really good work.

Briley is an option on a cut 95 bucks and rethread 195 if I get to the point of buying a 28" or longer.

If Briley does the work you can call them years later and order another choke. They keep your barrel information.

I bought a Beretta 390 shotgun at a gun show. The owner shot the gun with no choke tubes and ruined the barrel. I left the barrel open and put on an Ivory bead. I cut the barrel behind the threads and used it for gail hutting.

Gunbroker is another place to look. And that's the place I'd keep a close eye on as the inventory changes daily. There is a 24" on there now, but it's a 2 3/4" chamber.

How hard would it be to take a rag with some Hoppes 9 or even gun oil on it and clean up shipping grease or oil on NOS barrels.
Take 8 pics / 4 each of each barrel as requested.

It's a possible for a cut down to a 24 versus a 28 cut down per Riley, due to the choke barrel flare area being more rearward to 24 inches .

Per Rikey convo several days ago and me picking the guys brain.
I didn't pick up on it being ported.
I don't know if that would be a factor in rethread in that area for a choke.

Only diff really is the wood.
And some internal parts like plastic versus metal follower and I think the same with trigger guard.
Maybe a couple of other non critical parts.
But a barrel is a barrel.
It might not be roll marked Turkey like on the green lam ones.

Those win 1300 turkey guns are good turkey guns.

I bought one of the Walmart closeout 20ga. 1187 compacts a few years ago. D&T it and put a Bushnell turkey plex scope on it. My SIL has used it to take a bird opening day the last three seasons. This morning he guided his cousin to a bird and let him use it to take that bird. I've only shot the gun to sight in the scope.

This afternoon he told me he was thinking about selling his 935 that he's been hunting with for a dozen years. He knows my rule about the first person that draws blood gets the gun. I'm kinda wondering was that his way of asking me if he could inherit the gun early!!!

835 and 935 throw a hellava pattern when ya find the choke and shell combo a gun likes.
.670 to .680 choked
2 oz longbeard # 6,s
Even better with hevishot or TSS shells.
Even with bargin basement rem nitro 5.s they shoot a decent pattern.
Not sexy guns, and they kick hard.
That can be tamed down alot with a limbsaver pad and weight in the buttstock like I have posted about before.
Me and slumlord had our eyes out for them 1187 20 ga SG,s during the ERA of wally world Brick Seek clearance guns.
We bought alot of Weatherby Rifles and the Monarch Scopes.
Those days will never happen again due to the 2020 summer of Riot love, C19 overall bullschit, and Honk for Joey....

I remember back in 2011 2012 era when they had Colt LE 6920,s on clearance.
I had 0 foresight walking by those back then.
I think they were around the 450 price range on clearance...

Yep, the days of closeout deals are long gone, but I hit them hard when we had them. Guns, optics and ammo were bought for my needs, gifts and trade bait.

My SIL has a bad shoulder and the 3.5 12 hurts him. The lower recoil and small gun really are working form him. Might end up being his Christmas present. My grandsons are going to be big tall guys like my side of the family. They'll want that 935 when they're a little older.
