There is a gentleman out of Oklahoma that I have purchased several shotgun barrels from at gun shows here in Wichita. He has a large selection, bought new in the box 20 ga. AL48 with choke tubes and 11-48 12 ga. Skeet barrels.

A member named 35 sent me a PM this morning giving me a heads up on 2 LNIB that just popped up on gunbroker this morning.

Here is what went down.
Basically the copy of the pm I sent 35 a few moments ago.

Appreciate him giving me the heads up.
πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Email to seller on gunbroker below and what I just sent to 35 via PM:

Well I tried..

SMH....
Not a way to conduct business IMO....
πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
8 simple pics of better quality and he could have sold the better pick of them in my eyes to me.
Would have gotten a USPS MO out to him by noon.

Email back and forth below:

Thanks

No I’m not taking more pics. They are both new old stock. It’s factory grease. No point in numbering them. They are identical and both new.

OK I understand both are lnib.

Can you send me some better pics of both. simple labeled 1 and 2.

Top, bottom, both sides .

All full length.

In your pics on the ad.

They look like factory grease or oil shipping smudge on the finish.

Basically need some better pictures πŸ‘πŸ»

Thank you.

How hard would it be to take a rag with some Hoppes 9 or even gun oil on it and clean up shipping grease or oil on NOS barrels.
Take 8 pics / 4 each of each barrel as requested.

Send em to a potential buyer, let the buyer choose the better one in their decision making process and make a 400 dollar sale......

Have looked at that one

It's a possible for a cut down to a 24 versus a 28 cut down per Riley, due to the choke barrel flare area being more rearward to 24 inches .

Per Rikey convo several days ago and me picking the guys brain.
I didn't pick up on it being ported.
I don't know if that would be a factor in rethread in that area for a choke.

I been looking for awhile.

Would have been nice if Mr Florida 2 NOS barrel guy would be willing to send pics.

Jag it is right here.
I finally was able to contact him earlier today.

Down to earth straight shooter type of guy.
Talked to him for almost 45 mins about many things.
Asked him if I could pick his brain for knowledge.
Learned alot about Berreta semi,s.
More knowledge base is always good.
He has 26 and 28 inch 390 barrels.

And on a side note after going to the gun show here in town.
Nothing of interest to me....

A member from Nashville sent me a PM about his willingness to sell a Berreta 390 NWTF Camo edition for a very good price.
He said he doesn't wanna deal with the drama of selling it on here and just wants to sell it for what he bought it for.
πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Told him my vision of having a combo 390 set up turkey and dove 24 and 28 inch set up.

But also told him he is killing me in a good way, but I need to sleep on it for a decision.

Told him his pm is not gonna get deleted and will be held onto.
And I purge my pm regularly like many on here know.

Gawd .
A 24 inch Berreta 390 camo NWTF gun..

This is soooooooo tempting.

The thought of having 2
1 for Turkey
1 for Dove

Is like blowing me away.
Not to mention passing em on down the line to a Solid SF son in law even though he is from Texas.
Jk Texas guys.🀣

Or a grand kid down the line.

Is playing into my decision making process right now.

Mr. Florida 2 barrel seller who won't send pics for a sale might have been a really good thing in retrospect now...

I could use a 11-48, 410 barrel. Hard to find.
Hope it works out for you. Just a matter of time.

Dangit, I thought with the introduction of interchangeable choke tubes that one barrel could do it all.

But I'll be the last to frown on getting another gun. One is none, 2 is one.

Congrats.

Camo w/ 24 inch.

Let me check the members pics for Geo data before I post em up.

When I have this gun on Tuesday.
I will thank the member publicly on this thread.
Its all a prime example of how putting feelers out and all the help from this thread on how the Campfire and Gen forum is a good thing out weighing alot of other stuff at times.
This gun is like a unicorn to me.
Something you don't pass up!

Akin to finding a WW2 Walther AC Code may 44 G43 with all 7 serial #,s matching.
Or finding a pair of Marlin .375,s.
Or even running across a Marlin 36G (not 36) with burnt in matching serial# inside the buttstock.
Or running across a early pre Rochester production TC Hawken.
