Anyone purchased an M1 or 1911 from CMP (or earlier from DCM) and successfully obtained serial number history on a particular firearm? If so, what's the process? Thanks.
You can submit a serial number to the CMP and they will research it to see if they have had it through their system. If it's been sold they will not tell you who the buyer was. Is this what you are wanting to know ??
