OP Davelefty Campfire Regular D Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 684 northwestern PA	Anyone purchased an M1 or 1911 from CMP (or earlier from DCM) and successfully obtained serial number history on a particular firearm? If so, what's the process? Thanks.

If it's been sold they will not tell you who the buyer was.
