A while back I had a breakage of the battery door on my TLR-1 gun light. It was a bad design, and the plastic hinge just snapped from stress. I sent it back to them and, for no charge (other than shipping it to them), they replaced it with a steel hinge arrangement (much better), and sent it back to me at their expense. So props to them.

Mine did that just sitting in the safe. I emailed them to discuss the cost and procedure to get a new one. They returned my email with a request on where to send the replacement battery door at no charge.

The product has a design flaw but Streamlight's customer service seems to be excellent.

I recently purchased a Streamlight on the recommendation of LEO and firefighter friends, I'm very pleased with the power and performance of this fine product.

I have several weapon lights from Streamlight and have zero issues.
