Alright, in the spirit of the "Post your ugly mug" threads. And in light of the fact that "Arm chair quarterback" is not a recognized profession. Post your job title. Let's see what we got around the 'fire.
My title:
Environmental Specialist (no not environmentalist)
small town weekly newspaper owner.....means small staff and i do a lil of everything that we do, from acting publisher(on the rare occasion my wife is out of town) to sweeping floors and everything in between....
(Aka crap, what's this supposed to do? give it to Pugs, maybe he can figure out what it is and isn't and how to fix it)
hmmmmm you can prolly throw that in with mine from fixing presses made in 1927 to a couple year old 1 hour photo lab......im usually the one figuring out how to fix the chit.....
Pugs, I still think you should go by "SAM snuffer." Or "HARM applications specialist."
Past life - My actual title then was ECMO - Electronic Counter Measures Officer but most of us were better known as GEEKMO's electron wrangling is my life.
Science Coordinator (MBG) New Mexico Field Representative (TRCP) semi-retired Conservation Biologist/Wildlife Ecologist (yeah, you can call me Dr. Brown, but it don't mean a thing down here)
Upon finally getting my license, I told my wife that she could just call me "The General". She acted as though she couldn't hear me. (grin) Along the same lines, I suppose I could call her "Doctor", but then we would both sound like azzholes. Just the other day, I saw a woman in a nice SUV with the license plate "LDYLWYR". The GVR for that rig must have been stout if it could tote her ego....

Assistant Director for a University department, i.e.: the sounding board for the "So and So is not doing their job" or "so and so came in late to work, what are you going to do about it?" Or the really fun "So and so didn't get my paycheck fixed and I want them fired" speeches.

university professor here -- the kind that makes extra work for guys like RyanTX
Minister of Discipline for a 13 year old boy. Former petroleum transfer engineer, and presently a Sergeant with the Kentucky State Police. My job duties include throwing myself between the tree dwellers that run the agency and the ground dwellers I supervise.
I'm an avid 24hr campfire reader, hunter, fisherman, gun owner, hand loader, conservative (not republican or democrat), USA Constitutionalist, voter, first generation (proud) American, son of two parents who never stepped foot in school, but who worked all their lives, I have a bachelors degree, MA, and PhD, and Im a professor at a medical college. I also have an employed son who hunts & fishes with me, and he is fully employed and also a functional member of American society.
LEO, which explains the sarcasm and lack of patience on some days. I don't mean to offend, really
Brinky, if we ever meet I hope it's a good day for both of us.
It usually is. I know I come off like an azz sometimes on these posts but I get over it quick and mean no harm. I would give the shirt off my back to anyone on this.
Owner and CEO of a design company, I am the President, Secretary, Receptionist and sole employee. I'm the responsible member of the company - if the project doesn't get done, I'm responsible. I guess that makes me a P.E.O.N. Actually I am semi-retired, just having a hard time dumping the "semi-" part, maybe in a couple of years.
Cabinetmaker / Finish Carpenter / Draftsman / Project Manager...............soon to be retired whether I can afford it or not! Lately, the construction business sux..............................Oh, and long range shooter.
Retail Floor specialist...AKA Plan-o Gram.. I tell retailers where to put stuff and manufactures what color the bottles should be....30 years plus..soon to retire!!! I should start a countdown!!!

Mountain Inspector--Several times each day, especially during sunsets, I am required to look west toward the Wind Rivers (mountain range to those of you who don't live in God's country) and make sure they are still there.
Most mornings I make a little extra effort and watch the sunrise over the hills to our east. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.
Self employed SOB Special Building Inspector dealing with Structural Steel ,Strucural Concrete, Structural Masonry, Epoxys and Sismic up grade. Oh and I am a welder still.
Welder/Fabricator, 30+ years Stairs ,railing ,structural steel, architectural nightmares ... The weirder it is , the more fun it is to build, cause you don't learn anything if it's easy!

Retired school administrator, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, former Marine, trap shooter, hunter, camper, old fart, and some that can't be put up here.
Ex ranch hand, professional trapper, movie projectionist, refinery chemist, embalmer, dentist, orthodontist, clinical hypnotist, now retired, thinking about an 9th career as a psychologist. I think I like the grandpa thing best. I need to fish more.

I work with engineers and land surveyors, at a consulting engineering company. I am what is called a Right of Way agent. I drive around and talk to landowners about placing things on their property they normally don't want.
Fellow Campfire Members; Thanks to all who've responded, it is an interesting cross section of humanity we have regularly assembled here.
Among other jobs I did a bit of grain farming, orchard work and construction awhile back, but since '87 I've worked in a cabinet shop doing whatever I was asked. Well except for one year where I was building fire fighting equipment that fit under helicopters, but otherwise I've worked at a cabinet shop.
As others have mentioned, the title I'm most comfortable with is husband or dad. I've always maintained that the guy who shows up at work isn't the real Dwayne, but he helps pay for the real one and his family.
A couple managers ago we had a chap who was big on titles and I suggested "Plant Septic Funnel" for mine, which I thought was pretty pithy, though he did not.
Well he's gone and I'm still there, so while it says Safety/HR Manager on my business cards, I'm the one that gets called whenever anything breaks or needs to get modified, whether mechanical or human.
Thanks again to all who've responded and have a good week all.
Emergency Medicine Physician (just started residency) when I finish I plan on moving to Alaska if I can find a suitable job there, just so I can hunt and fish more.
Retired Line Crew Foreman --- We built and maintained overhead and underground distribution lines, and sometimes my crew would let me help if I stayed out of the way.

If I had a title, sometimes I hope it would be - "Love the Un-lovely" ... or "Everybody Needs a Friend". That even includes "Campfire Trolls" or anyone else un-popularly be-fallen.
No one will even notice a simple 'rambling' after 8 pages ...

Thanks...I think! You can get away with anything that won't hurt somebody that doesn't deserve to be hurt. Sounds simple, but that's me.

The one that brings me the most grins is 4-H Shooting Sports Trap Instructor. Not that I'm any sort of great instructor but it's a gas watching a new shooter personally develop by learning to apply himself to mastering a skill while working with others. Particularly so with those who have developmental problems. Give it a try if you have the time, I started by helping the club maintain their shotguns. There's always room for helpers for scoring, reloading trap machines and such.
