Mountain Inspector--Several times each day, especially during sunsets, I am required to look west toward the Wind Rivers (mountain range to those of you who don't live in God's country) and make sure they are still there.
Most mornings I make a little extra effort and watch the sunrise over the hills to our east. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

I work with engineers and land surveyors, at a consulting engineering company. I am what is called a Right of Way agent. I drive around and talk to landowners about placing things on their property they normally don't want.

Fellow Campfire Members; Thanks to all who've responded, it is an interesting cross section of humanity we have regularly assembled here. Among other jobs I did a bit of grain farming, orchard work and construction awhile back, but since '87 I've worked in a cabinet shop doing whatever I was asked. Well except for one year where I was building fire fighting equipment that fit under helicopters, but otherwise I've worked at a cabinet shop. As others have mentioned, the title I'm most comfortable with is husband or dad. I've always maintained that the guy who shows up at work isn't the real Dwayne, but he helps pay for the real one and his family. A couple managers ago we had a chap who was big on titles and I suggested "Plant Septic Funnel" for mine, which I thought was pretty pithy, though he did not. Well he's gone and I'm still there, so while it says Safety/HR Manager on my business cards, I'm the one that gets called whenever anything breaks or needs to get modified, whether mechanical or human.
