In defense of all "news", it only takes about 10 minutes to report things at their worst. Everything else is just mindless entertainment. Somebody is paying for it.

I'd rather take a walk with the dogs than to watch televised news programs, which is what I do.

have for the most part not watched news in a few years now. Probably thanks to Scotts suggestion.

They do have the best upskirts though.

I don't think The Five will survive in this time slot. The relatively informal format and frequent tangents the panel would take played well in the late afternoon, but it somehow comes off as haphazard and unprofessional in prime time.

Ironically, I didn't originally have much confidence in Eric Bolling's new show.......but I think it's format holds more promise as a prime time offering than The Five. Although pairing Joe Namath and Karl Rove as guest commentators tonight was a bit bizarre.

I actually thought Joe Namath came off surprisingly well. He has surprisingly good camera presence.

The irony short of immediate breaking news is:

You can watch any one hour show and pretty much know what's going on for the 24 hour period.

OR

You can watch for 24 hours and be reminded every hour of what's going on for the 24 hour period.

Just like you watch Duck Dynasty, that's conservative, or one of the liberal TV shows.

Just a matter of what "entertainment" you turn into, because the network you tune to says things you like.

Seems to me so called "conservatives" are a totally self destructive force. Fox is the ONLY news channel that reports the news without a twist and you all hate that, or something. No one seems to appreciate what Fox brings to the table so very soon they will be gone, the communists will take over, and America will be gone. All on "conservatives" .

The void they leave by turning left will clear the way for another, perhaps better, conservative news channel.

Our local news is an ABC affiliate.

Few years ago they actually reported the local news.

Now the liberal corksuckers have MAYBE 5 minutes of local news, and not much of that is relevant. Then they go to news stories provided by ABC,

We didn't have a local station until just a few years ago. Before that we got Spokan's news and since Spokan is a liberal chit hole it was FAUX or nothing for me.

Local new today reported a 27 year repeat offender got arrested for sexual assualting a chicken. I sheit you not.

I wouldn't. I thoroughly enjoy watching lieberals show their azz repeatedly as hosts and conservative guests show what idiots and traitors they are. I find that priceless!

Not really - Fox has in the last few years slid somewhat left. I like One America News a lot better. But as said, there is only one cycle, about 30-50 minutes long, that is repeated all day long. And Friday's news is largely repeated throut the weekend. Still, OAN provides several times as much news, without the slant, that MSM or FOX does on an hourly, daily, and weekly basis. . Their editorials are conservative. Nor does OAN have those dumass "pundit" panels, which provide a bunch of idiots with a platform to pile on the Trump bashing, in addition to what passes for "news". I've quit watching MSM completely, except for 5 minutes here and there to renew my gorge... Or on occaision, watch liberal heads explode.... that's always amusing.


I watch OAN 15 minutes in the morning, and an hour or so after work, and the evening "local" news (Anchorge Fox station- 550 miles south....)

I've not seen OAN on Comcast's guide. ?? Would like to check it out, though.

And jaun williams is an idiot. Actually I think they got bumped off of the 5:00pm slot due to low ratings. Now they compete with network TV which I would think less people would be watching them. I would start watching and then switch to Fox Business as soon as beckel or williams starting yapping.

Actually I like Fox Business a little better at times because they have less liberal jackasses on.
