A Hialeah, Florida man took matters into his own hands to remove AT&T workers from his property on Wednesday.

Jorge Jove, a 64-year-old retired Miami-Dade firefighter, shot the tires of two AT&T trucks, as seen in video captured of the incident and posted on Twitter.

Hialeah Police Sgt. Carl Zogby told WSVN that Jove was “upset that the trucks were parked in front of his house” and that he “asked them to move.

The workers told Jove they’d move in a few minutes, Zogby told WSVN, but that didn’t satisfy the homeowner.

“They said, ‘We’ll move in a few minutes. We’re just working on the poles. We’re supposed to be here,'” Zogby said. “He went back into his house, came out a few moments later with a gun and started firing at both AT&T trucks that were on the scene.”

In the video capturing Jove shooting at the tires of both trucks, a voice can be heard describing the incident to police, WSVN reported.

“There’s a guy shooting out my tires. There’s a guy shooting out my tires,” the voice says. WSVN reported an employee for the company was in the air working on one of the poles while Jove was shooting.

No injuries were reported.

Jove was taken into custody and questioned.

Zogby told the outlet Jove “flattened their tires, he shot into the bodies of the trucks, he shot at one of the radiators of the trucks. We’re trying to determine now whether he was actually intentionally trying to shoot the workers or just shoot the vehicles.”

Jove fired a total of 18 bullets, Zogby said.

“He seemed to be a quiet man, and something made him snap today,” he said.

AT&T released a statement obtained by WSVN that read, “We’re grateful nobody was hurt, and we’re working with law enforcement in their investigation. Because there’s an active investigation, I need to refer you to them for any questions.”

Sure makes gun owners look real good in the eyes of the Liberal gun grabbers. Should have used the last bullet on himself, fugging idiot.

Can you hear me now...

Haa, I felt like that earlier today about Comcast. We've been dealing with bad phone service (VOIP) and communication of data between the two stores for the past 2 weeks. Comcast sucks. They finally got someone out there and replaced THEIR router. I wonder what that will cost me? It's their lines and router, but I have to pay. I think he fixed it, but now we have a new set of problems with error messages and such. We'll see tomorrow.

I bet that jackass would think differently if his phones didn't work. I'd be out there with some cold drinks for the guys. I'm curious about what happened after the police arrived.
At first I was bit shocked, then I read Florida ...

Wouldn't put it past him. Would have used his .470 on them. smile

He should at least yank that grill off to hang on his wall.
Posted By: StoneCutter Re: Jorge has had enough.! - 07/20/17
As close as he was standing to the trucks, he's lucky he didn't get hit by a ricochet or debris.

So? Anything wrong with that?

Had a case like that up here. Power company contracted an arborist to trim back trees from power line right away. They start trimming trees on a guys property and he goes Jorge on them and starts shooting.

Swat team called and at the end of it the guy was dead. I think he offed himself but don't recall the details

They won't let you hang anything on the wall of your jail cell.

He was probably a Greeny Liberal. They get all upset when people cut down trees.

He probably retired in Florida from Cali..........
So the guy wants the trucks gone and then disables them. Brilliant.

Gotta love it when idiots think they own the public streets and utility easements in front of their house too....

I've had to educate a few on the subject.

I don't know... AT & T...

IN my MN days, guy across the street has a house built on a vacant lot...
custom home...

then spent a fortune on having it landscaped, etc...

out comes the phone company, while he is gone out of town on business and his
wife was flying, being an airline stewardess....

phone company comes out to find a junction box that they had a repair order for..

they can't find it so they figure it must be buried... they dig up half the guys yard and leave a
hole, more like a crater, big enough to park an Abrams tank in...

can't find it so they leave.. and leave the trailer and the backhoe parked on the street...

guys comes home to this, calls the phone company, gets the run arround...

so he hires and attorney... they are going to take the phone company to court.

3 months later he wins his lawsuit.. judge tells the phone company to fill the hole up..
awards no damages and tells the home owner, that even tho his yard was landscaped and
he was required to maintain it due to city laws, since it was on the right of way... the phone company
has no responsibility except to fill the hole up... homeowner must pay to have landscaping down again.

The trailer with the back hoe was left there for 4 to 6 weeks for some reason.

The entire stupid thing was, the junction box they were looking for was not in that guys yard
it sat right across the street from where they were digging, on the corner of my lot.

They saw it, but their maps and info said the one they were suppose to repair was in his lot, not mine..

I have NO Love for any of the major land line phone companies....

cell phones are one of the best things to ever happen to communications in my opinion...

"Goes Jorge on them...." laugh. Sorry Jorge. I just couldn't resist grin

A new phrase is born; the only problem is that only readers of "The 'Fire" will understand it.

At least we know it wasn't a .270, they'd have bounced off the sidewalls.

“He seemed to be a quiet man, and something made him snap today,” he said.

This caught my attention, I bet it was those trucks parked out front his house that made him snap.

Dealing with utility companies will make you snap. So will Friday traffic. Plus fish. Very frustrating. And puppies. Puppies really make me snap. Tires. Oh I just hate tires! Make them stop!!

Was he a veteran with PTSD?

Cecil B. DeMille is lucky that Jorge didn't have a problem with being videoed.
