Just announced by the folks at Nike that colon kaepernick will be the "new face of their ad campaign"! I wonder if that will work out for Nike? I know I will never buy another pair of their shoes or anymore of their clothing. But there are lots of anti-American, anti-establishment types that do buy shoes/clothes. Personally I don't think it will do much good for their bottom line. We'll see. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Businesses choosing sides, trying to prove their worth to the liberal ideology, is not good.
It may be used to discriminate in some fashion in the future, akin to the "Jewish Laws" of the 1930's - To ostracize, isolate, and ruin those who do or join differently.
Like an athletic dept who is told they have to choose their equipment from Nike, cause the school mandates they use a company with "like" ideals (false, or not)
It kills other business, and points out those who will not cooperate. And people who dont want the scrutiny or backlash will be "coerced" to go along to avoid the "scandal"
Just hopped on Nike's customer support Chat Line (below). Asked if it was true that Colin Kapernick was going to be the new spokesman for Nike's new ad campaign? Got an evasive answer and a strong impression that I was not the first person to raise this issue. Politely explained to the chat agent that if Nike engaged CK in a public ad campaign, all of my Nike branded gear would go in the trash. And that Nike would be dead to me just like the NFL has been for the past two years.
If you have an extra five minutes, rattle Nike's chain via the link below. The more negative hits they get regarding Crapperdick, the more likely they are to reconsider the ad campaign, or cut it short. Nike is all about the money. We have to provide strong clear feedback that any profit they make off the malcontent will be more than offset by the money they lose from real customers who buy sports gear for themselves, their kids, their grand kids.
Take five minutes to let Nike know that this choice will negatively impact their bottom line...

I'll never buy another Nike product. It will be fun to see both them and Dick's have their going out of business sale. Must be their strategy is to focus on the minority population....Good luck with that. Most of those don't buy they acquire.
You do know that CK is going to win a really big time award from the NFL & it's very likely that some team is going to be forced to take him onto their roster? Likely an arbitration decision before the end of the year.
I don't buy Nike, don't watch the NFL or the NBA, and I hope this blows in Nike's face.
But.......it won't and I'll tell you why......they will lie and deceive the public even if it doesn't go over good, and put the blame on conservative people and the GOP
Rong: As an aside, when I was a police officer in Seattle, Washington myself and several other officers were hired "off-duty" by the wonderful Warshal's Sporting Goods store there at 1st and Madison near Seattle's renowned "Skid Road". This store had an absolutely wonderful and large gun department back then as well as a three personnel gunsmithing shop. It also had a superb camera section with three well qualified salesmen there. But we were hired by the Jewish owners (two brothers named Warshal) to protect their athletic shoe section from black shoplifters and grab and dashers! We (in several years of work) never arrested anyone for trying to shoplift their "Nike" type athletic shoes who was NOT, black! Not once, ever! One of the Warshal brothers once confided in me that putting that athletic shoe section in his large two story establishment was the worst business decision he had ever taken part in. It was just a constant headache trying to ride herd on the black shoplifters and on several occasions while we officers were not on duty or had to be absent for court or lunch breaks or what ever, the black shoplifters would literally "run down" the smallish Jewish salesmen/women who worked in that department and leave with the stolen "Air Jordans" or what ever was the rage at the time! Sad commentary on the mentality/morality of "urban youth" and a life lesson I have not forgotten. At the time Seattle's black population was just 6% of the total (nation consisted of 11% blacks back then)! Yet those folks had to PAY for police protection of there "shoes" that they were trying to sell! I don't ever remember cashing a paycheck from that store, even though I worked there for several years - I was always using my pay as payment on Rifles and pistols I had put on lay-a-way! Slice of life interruption there - pardon me. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy P.S. Can I add another "aside" to this story - William and Adolph Warshal (the brothers who owned Warshals Sporting Goods Store 1936 to 1985) were always wonderful to us officers who worked there for them. One day William "Bill" Warshal asked me to come outside of the store - I went with him wondering what this little old man wanted with me outside the store. Bill says to me, "Dale THAT is the best business decision I ever made" as he pointed across the street to the newish at the time Federal Building that occupied the whole block across from his store. He continued "Dale I bought that city block demolished the old buildings there and then rented (leased?) it long term to Uncle Sam for his Federal Building - he's never missed a month's rent and the rent ain't cheap"! I was in shock that he would confide in me about his personal and unknown to me business dealings - but I told him I was happy for him and tried to lead him into telling me how much the lease/rent was by saying "man I can't even imagine how much rent they pay"? Bill just smiled and looked at me, saying, "a LOT"! Good for Bill - he led a long and rewarding life. And even late in life loved to play tennis - he was a member of the exclusive Seattle Athletic Club and oftne invited me to play tennis with him there - sadly I never took him up on his invitations. Another slice o'life - pardon me please.
Dennis: Hi, my name is Dennis. How may I help you? Eric: Hi, I heard that Colin Kaepernick will be the new face for Nike ads, is this accurate? Dennis: Hi there Eric. Eric: Hi there Dennis Dennis: There is no details or confirmation as of yet but we will certainly release public statement Dennis: please stay tuned .
Most business learned a long, long time ago that it was wise to remain apolitical.
What you see with the Millennials today is a search for the romanticism of the Baby Boom generation. They've read and been indoctrinated in the romanticism that was the 1960's:
- anti war protests - Civil Rights marches - campus protests - feminist movement - moral superiority on all fronts vs. the conservative White Male
All these things signify power for the young versus the establishment, and they are lauded as times when each individual "could make a difference with their conscious". These kids have ben urged to "make a difference. Protect the environment, embrace Climate Change, go Green, even though neither real science or common sense is on their side.
That's why you see these fools applaud BLM, ANTIFA, or Kaepernick's social injustice demonstration. The media, in their never ending thirst for something (ANYTHING) to exploit jumps on such things because it is easy to own the moral high ground. It is easy to say Blacks are oppressed, killed by cops, or just have the raw deal. Who's gonna step into that quagmire of barnyard poop and argue the point? Win or lose the argument, everyone smells like [bleep] afterwards.
Dick's Sporting Goods is learning a lesson in political activism. Nike may very well get a lesson in Profit and Loss with theirs. Under Armour has been beating their ass for a decade, taking profits. Is CK the answer to Under Armour? How does Colin Kaepernick help them out? We shall see how it plays.
Hatari: I do NOT know what the meaning of the longest word in the English language is ("antidisestablishmentarianism"- sp?) but I think a high percentage of todays younger people are being bred and educated for reasons of anti-establishment politics! When I was a young man if any commercial product had hired an anti-American spokesperson to sell their product that product/company would have failed miserably. Today is a different time. The audacity of Nike to try to use this scoundrel as the face for their products advertising, in my mind, is just assinine and irresponsible - but I am not much of a business adviser. I fear for the future of this country. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Simm: Hi, my name is Simm. How may I help you? Roy: Colin paperback is gonna be the new face of you guys now. Simm: There's no confirmation for it yet. Simm: But what I can tell you is that we support athletes and their right to freedom of expression on issues that are of great importance to our society. Roy: Word will spread about your companies relationship with Colin kapernick. I know nike products will not be purchased in my family ever again. Simm: I'll make sure your feedback will reach our team.

Make sure you do this. They replied to me that their management has chosen to make no further statements on this issue at this time. I advised them that I would make no further purchases pending a satisfactory answer.

You just described to a fine point how the average British man felt back in the mid 1990’s. Look where that went.

Maryshell said "I understand your concerns and will bring this to the Nike teams attention. That is the best way I can serve you." Or something along those lines. She aslo said something about Nike supporting the US.
Sarlyn: Hi, my name is Sarlyn. How may I help you? Sarlyn: Hi, are you there? I haven’t received a response from you. Just wanted to ensure that your inquiry will be taken care of. We appreciate and value your feedback. And we are thankful that you are sharing your thoughts. I'm happy to capture your feedback and let our leadership team know. This Is robot crap..... Nike don't give a fugg
Maybe legitimate complaints might make their way to management?
Their chat line is so busy it can not find anyone to take my bitch...but I am patient tonight...they will hear it. And guess what? they said they could not comment on this...guess they have heard about it a lot. Keep dinging them boys....if nothing else their chat people (who has a name like Ram anyway?) will get tired of it.
I don't buy Nike, don't watch the NFL or the NBA, and I hope this blows in Nike's face.
But.......it won't and I'll tell you why......they will lie and deceive the public even if it doesn't go over good, and put the blame on conservative people and the GOP
..........+1............They'll probably find some way to blame it on Pres. Trump.
Well, I've let them know twice myself. Didn't think to do a cut and paste though.
Edited to add: Although I don't own any of their shoes and can't think of anything else either with their name on it. For me, it's the principal of the thing. I mean how stupid does a company have to be to deliberately choose a polarizing figure? Well, unless they think black people will buy more of their stuff because of it.
They were very evasive on answering me both times. The first time they finally admitted it, the second they wouldn't.
They just lost a 100 buck sale........I received a pair of Nikes two years ago for Christmas and they held up well..... I was going to order a new pair just like them tonight.....I will pick up a pair of made in the USA New balance instead....... Piss on Nike.....
Also went to Lowes today to get a new Grill..... Ask if they had a made in the USA model to my surprise they did....Broil King made in Indiana good price also.....
I think your message has a better chance of getting to management if you are courteous and keep it clean. The people responding to your message have no part in decision making. Be clean, be courteous and there is no reason for your message not to get passed on. If you come across like a perv, you will be ignored.
Any business or product that thinks boo boos will bring in the business is nuts. I subconsciously add them all to the list. Hip hop, rap, and monkey antics don't fly in this household.

Yep. Ultimately, everything has to pay its way or be cast aside. ?They will learn this...or should I say most eventually will. The rest are parasites
Callnum: Are YOU saying YOU will buy Nike products? I probably have some hair growing out of my ears and I won't be buying myself, the VarmintWife, the VarmintChildren and the VarmintGrandkids any more Nike products - in case you are wondering! Again, I would like to know if you will buy products endorsed and promoted by colon kaepernick? Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Sloone: In my post I was clear that the black population of the United States of America was 11% back in the early 1970's - I got those statistics quarterly from the F.B.I.'s "crime statistics" that were provided to all first class (large!) cities law enforcement agencies. I have also heard the black folks make up 13% of todays population but that was beyond the scope/time of my observations. Lets not forget that many folks of black descent are decent hard working Americans - its just sad that so many of that race have become social parasites and criminals - that makes it hard on the decent hard working black folks. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy P.S.: I got my initial information on Nike going with colon kaepernick as the face for their new ad campaign from the "Drudge Report"- I will see if I can link to it for those interested! Hold into the wind VarmintGuy P.S.S.: Link: https://bleacherreport.com/articles...-30th-anniversary-of-just-do-it-campaign
Callnum: You show your stupidity two ways with your latest post! First off I have been buying Nike products for many decades now - I was proud of them when they first started out as they were a NW (my part of the world at the time - 1971) industry! My advice on this matter is for you to keep your stupid assed mouth shut when you feel the urge to speak about something you know nothing about! Secondly your ignorance in supporting an anti-American (colon kaepernick!) speaks for itself - you are an ignorant idiot! PERIOD! Nobody is asking you to keep up with or do anything - knowledge though is power and if you are not interested in knowing what the anti-Americans are doing and who they are - then I feel sorry for your idiotic ass. Sad. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Callnum: Again callnum you are just exposing your own ignorance to more and more folks - let me make it more clear to your suffering mind - I have purchased many Nike products in the past not only for myself and my immediate family but also for nephews and nieces as gifts! Even bought a few Nike "gift certificates". And I am ignoring your idiotic contention that buying Nike products is "okay" now! Its no longer okay, dufus! Support the anti-Americans if you want but I and many others will cease doing so. Sad. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy P.S.: Just moments ago (9:35 P.M. - M.S.T.) the gentleman moderator of tonights (9/3/2,018) Fox News's Show "Shannon Bream" announced that Nike has already received so much back lash that they are re-considering their colon kaepernick advertising decision - I don't know what will come of the colon kaepernick advertising program at Nike but like I said initially there are so many ignorant (like yourself) and anti-American types around these days maybe colon kaepernick will be a hit with you's guys? He-he.
First............. You all know that you are all talking to Nike "chatbots", right? These are self-learning AI code-based programs that act line real humans, but aren't. They are very convincing though - adding in some "lol's", adding in some strategic typos, etc.
Anyhow..... Hatari has it right:

callnum: I am surprised YOU are so intent on proving your ignorance to more and more campfire members - for you to make blanket statements about another persons beliefs when you have no idea what so ever if they are true or not is AGAIN just a sign of ignorance, compounded by immaturity. Your allegiance to the proven long term anti-American (colon kaerpernick) is puzzling and laughable at the same time. Keep showing your stupidity and immaturity - if nothing else, its amusing. I'll repeat for purposes of getting it through your dimwitted mental processes - I am NOT going to buy anymore Nike products or gift certificates due to colon kaepernick being "the new face of Nike's advertising"! Now you can repeat that all you want - I told it to you, and its true. But my advice about guessing about anything else regarding my "beliefs" and "habits" is to refrain! You are making yourself into a clown and that is beneath the dignity of a real man and any person wishing to share opinion and experiences on this forum. While I am at it (dealing with ignoramus's!) I call on the Nike Corporation to reject colon kaepernick. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Nike loses 4 billion in market capitalization since the market close on Friday...
Since announcing their new advertising campaign will be led by Colin Kaepernick, the social media backlash has dominated the virtue-signaling efforts we presume they hoped for.
If the public backlash against other corporate brand names who have taken a vocal political stance is any indication, Nike faces considerably more pressure: companies from Dick's (which saw a sharp decline in sales after it stopped selling guns), to ESPN, to Papa John's, to Twitter and Facebook, to In-N-Out burger, have all seen an angry customer backlash - from either the left or the right - once these corporations entered the political arena, resulting in a hit to the top line, and ultimately, the shareholders' pocket.
JakeBlues: That is a sad commentary on the stupidity of the Nike Corporation - if I was a stockholder (and I am not!) I would be livid about their colon kaepernick decision as well as the stock devaluation resulting from that decision. Sad and stupid (like callnum I guess!)! Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
P.C., left coast libs made a calculated gamble. They went with Kaepernick to show how hip and cool they are. They're making a play for the gheto ninja types who they recognize as their target market. And, they may be right.
That market doesn't include me, now it excludes me.
callnum: You finally burped up something that makes a little sense! Indeed I won't be buying ANY more Nike products nor anymore Nike gift certificates! See even ignorant people like yourself can be taught some things. He-he. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Dirtfarmer: Your observations and analysis are right on. I think Nike has shot themselves in the shoe (foot!) so to speak. I hope they recant on colon kaepernick - lots of traditional valued, pro-America people BUY SHOES! Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
I just counted 6 pairs of Nike shoes around our house. I will not burn them but will buy no more. I am grateful for the New Balance recommendations on these threads and for learning they are made in the United States of America.

I'm sure Nike will feel the pain of your boycott VG. Those $20 gift cards at Christmas you buy are their bread and butter.
Better than sitting around with ones head buried in their butt. At least we are doing something. No, his personal $20.00 won't hurt but if 1,000,000 of us react this way then it has a far different outcome. Just ask Dick's. But you go ahead and sit around and do nothing because you are already a total loser.
I think Nike will soon wipe the crap off their dick when they realize he's cost them more than he's worth. They have stock holders that they have to answer to.

If he costs them anything, it's more than he's worth...
The thing they never thought about, like the NFL, even if they correct their mistake the damage is done. We know them now, and are not coming back. I believe in honoring the flag, it's not difficult to sacrifice the NFL
Roy: My portfolio is losing money cause your company hired Colin kapernick as your new face. Don't you think you ought to contact stick holders before a choice like him. Ramon: I'm happy to capture your feedback and share with our leadership team Roy: I'm losing money today cause your company hired an American below average has been quarterback from sanfransico. Roy: Anti American spokesperson Roy: Now stock holders are losing money.... Ramon: Everything is captured and I'll raise this to our Leadership team. Ramon: May I help you with anything else today?
Roy: I'm selling off nike before it tanks.... Ramon: Thanks for the feedback. Ramon: May I help you with anything else today?
You can search for an answer while you wait SEARCH
sawbuck: "I" didn't roll out anybody! Nike rolled out anti-American colon kaepernick a couple of days ago to head their new ad campaign and I am calling bullschitt on that move! I am targeting nobody in particular - I am targeting everyone, and letting them know what a dipschitt move the administrators of Nike are trying to pull off. How about you, sawbuck! Do you support colon kaepernick's anti-American actions? Do you support Nike in their decision to employ and enrich anti-American colon kaepernick as the face of their new ad campaign? I don't, on either point. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
callnum: I think Nike indeed did feel some of "my pain" (as YOU describe it!) today! The latest financial news is that Nike LOST $4,200,000,000.00 (four billion two hundred million dollars!!!!) today, alone! I am guessing that once this colon kaepernick ad campaign gets rolling they will feel even more of "my pain"! You're just a worthless fool - and whats worse you're a worthless fool without principals. Sheesh. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Just got my third and fourth "chat" in. This time I remembered to copy before closing them out.
Mica Angela: Hi, my name is Mica Angela. How may I help you? Rohm: Hi Mica! Mica Angela: Good Afternoon, Rohm. Rohm: I just wanted to encourage you guys to stick with Colin Kapernick. I sell your competitors shoes and sales have been thru the roof! Rohm: Will you pass this on to your boss for me? Mica Angela: We appreciate you for taking your time in reaching us here at Nike.com to share your thoughts about this issue. Rohm: Thanks!
Pauline Brendith: Hi, my name is Pauline Brendith. How may I help you? Barbara: Hi Pauline. I'm Barbara. Pauline Brendith: Hey there Barbara! Barbara: I'm the widow of a police officer killed in the line of duty and I'm very upset that your company has chosen to support Colin Kapernick. A man who wore "pig" socks and disrespects police officers like my husband. Barbara: Needless to say, I won't be buying my grandchildren any more of your products this Christmas.. or any other time in the future. Barbara: That's all. Pauline Brendith: We totally respect your take on this. Thank you for reaching us today and we appreciate your time bringing this to our attention. As of the moment, we're still waiting for our communications team and the only thing that we can do right now is to submit your feedback. I'll make sure that your voice will be heard. Pauline Brendith: For the meantime, is there anything else? Barbara: No. Goodbye.
This "New Coke" type marketing goof could well be one for B-school textbooks for a couple of decades to come. Seriously, what did they think would happen -- that moolies would buy more shoes or that White people would buy less shoes? It's not like they didn't have a playbook by virtue of the NFL ratings dip and merchandise arson last season.
Nike just lost $3.75 Billion in market cap after the Colin Kaepernick announcement, according to today's news. The Nike "Chat" link that was posted here failed to provide anyone to talk to. Have they given up trying to justify it?
Pretty clear they're shooting themselves in the foot!
Yep, the Dems are now the party of the super rich billionaires like George Soros, and the low information poor, as well as college professor types. They do not represent the workers or middle class, only the Republican party today does. Most dems grew up undiciplined and were the kids who screamed and kicked in the floor as their parents let them. They are still doing it as adults. A new civil war is coming, and it will be ugly. So far it is bloodless, but it could get worse if the left don't stop what they are doing.
We'll see. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
.....................................Well!......Nike can do whatever it wishes.....AND SO CAN WE!.......Nike will lose a fortune I predict.
Nike announced today that the supposed NFL boycott amounts to roughly a 4% viewer / purchaser loss. Which translates to: "They don't GAF about you or their 4% potential revenue loss over their chosen political referendum." ...and will be pouring millions into their leftist, anti-Trump agenda.
This is the guy who wrote "Pig" on his socks and went to practice while playing for the '49ers, before he ever took a knee. The marketing geniuses at Nike should do a friggin google search before they hitch their wagon to that horse. This household, with 2 teenage boys, is done with Nike products. Period.
If anyone still won't believe that we are already in a defacto civil war, consider.
Kapernick has caused this huge flap, costing the NFL huge amounts of money over the last 2 years. Knowing how controversial the topic is. And seeing how people are willing to take a stand and hold the NFL accountable.
Nike went ahead with the campaign. Willing to take the losses, to make their point. These are companies that balance everything through PR. Nothing is done until Public Relations signs off.

I agree with all of the above. No mistake about it there will be another civil war and what is going on now is just the initial shoving match. This time it won't be about North Vs South. It will be much simpler and easier to see almost like black and white.
Whoever gave Nike the "4%" viewer oss number was flat out wrong. The viewer lose the last 2 years is closer to 20%
I have never owned a pair of Nikes, preferring New Balance instead, so Nike will not miss my money because they never got it in the first place. I really can't see as Kaepernick is going to have much of an effect on Nike one way or another. Nike's market isn't aimed at people like us, and the reality is that they don't care about us, or what we think anyway. Nike sells a lot more than just shoes, and it's a worldwide company, so this isn't just about buying their shoes.
If my wishes were to come true, they would go broke over this, but that's not going to happen. It won't happen because people will say they don't like what Nike did, then after a while, they'll go back to watching the NFL, and buying sports related items. and Nike will be getting some of that money. That's how it always works.
I think you may be wrong. The "young crowd" would buy from Nike no matter what, and still may do that. All the young skulls full of mush care about is who's name is on the shoe. If some low-IQ cretin who can dribble a ball has his name on the shoe, they'll buy it. So I don't think they'll sell any more shoes to that group.
But people like us will STOP buying their shoes. I think they will lose some people but not get any more customers they would not have gotten anyway.

It's a stupid business decision.
You're right, people like us won't buy much.......BUT, I doubt there are that many like us left anymore.
As far as a stupid decision, of course it was.........from our perspective, but I don't think Nike cares what we think. They do a lot of business overseas, and those people love the Kaepernick types.

I have a 16 year old at home. None of his age group are into Nike, they are into Addidas. Nike is Old School.
All: I am not personally sure of the amount of damage done to Nike's stock yesterday - today on a "financial news" type TV show I heard that yesterday's damage to Nike was a lesser amount than what I heard and posted about yesterday. The monetary damage to Nike yesterday alone was quoted, today by one person, as $2,800,000,000.00 (two billion eight hundred million dollars) - using either dollar figure, yesterdays hit on Nike caused by colon kaepernick was amazingly substantial. Been to busy to check today. Whichever amount is correct the damage to Nike has been incredible and will almost certainly continue for a while. Now that I know what is in the hearts of idiots in Nikes management I will be spending my hard earned (and highly taxed!) dollars elsewhere. Down with nike! Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Nike went ahead with the campaign. Willing to take the losses, to make their point.
When it's all said & done, in the end, Nike will come out ahead; what the bruthas & sistas in the big cities buy waaaaaay more than compensates for whatever middle-America deosn't buy.
Just wanted to like let you all know that this is totally not an 'overtly political' ad campaign. That is according to CNBC. Not sure who that is but they are like, completely, reputable and stuff. I even got that off Google. So like keep buying Nike and stuff.
My only gripe is that since this is clearly not an 'overtly political' ad campaign but rather just randomly based around a mediocre athlete is; NIKE WHERE THE FUGH WERE YOU FOR ME!?!? I was one of the most randomly mediocre dudes on my freshman football team. Did it not occur to you, at any point, that I could use the fame and fortune? Well, didn't it? Did you not see the car I was driving or the utter lack of pussy I was forced to suffer at the time?
If you just hadn't thought of this yet NIKE, I think you are on to something. Why stop at a QB no one wants when you could have a 42 yo dude that never even played varsity ball....I mean, since it's not 'overtly political' and stuff. Cause, like, if you just picked whats-his-name and random why not pick me?
I have not purchased any Nike product since the 1980s...
A couple of years ago one morning while walking the dog before dawn I found a Nike hoodie that apparently someone had put of top of their car and then driven off...it was like new and when I checked the price it was like $125.00...
I only wore it a few times but Sunday will be it's last trip...putting on a tactical match and the hoodie will be on one of the rubber dummy "hoods"...and well ventilated by the end of the day...
Just checked. Nike stock was at an all time high during the last week in August. Colin burst that bubble with his +3% slide on Tuesday. Slight rebound on Wednesday and Thursday. And then another down tick on Friday. Betting that the dismal viewership for the NFL opener on Thursday night did not help their cause.
All in all, their stock is still down 2.3% after the first week of having CK be the "new face" of their company... As above, I don't know how much that means in real dollars. But, it has to hurt...
Orion200: Thanks for the update on the nike cretins - I have been busy doing gunshows and chasin guns the last couple of days. They (nike!) are going to take a hit on this one - maybe they have so much money stored up they just don't give a rat's ass? I know I am done with them!
RJM: I have a favorite polo type shirt is fits me very well and that is hard to do/find these days. It is a beautiful material and is jet black in color and has the simple white nike swoosh on the left chest - I remember it was a bit pricey but again it fit and looked so good - I can't wait to destroy it! I am trying to think up a clever and definitive way to abuse it - been leaning towards burning it on the Fourth of July next summer! Til then I plan on using it to dry my nut sack on those few occasions they get sweated up - and not washing it til its final burning.
I saw that Nike ad last night while watching some college ball. The ad was good, right up until they end when they showed Kraperdick's face. Totally negated the previous 27 seconds.
Nike's online sales are surging. Multi-national companies don't make decisions to lose money. Virtue signaling to the urban under 30 crowd pays off nicely.
I turned off the game also when I seen the ad,, However it was a very good ad till then and would have been much better an maybe even great if that had been PAT TILGHMAN or CHRIS KYLE, true men that were a bleesing to my country, and unselfishly sacrificed it all for for me an my way of life,,(yours too) parasites like Kaperdick an labron an others of that ilk should hav to kneel in front of their flag draped casket an cry for their pardon,,
