One of the Koch brothers.

He was 79.

The Koch's have spent a bundle under the table trying to get the feds to turn over our public land to the states where it will be sold to big money investors.

One more greedy globalist billionaire dies.

Money couldn't even buy him good health.LOL

I would rather it had been Soros.

In a tragic tomahawk accident... smile

I would guess that changes the conservative political landscape quite a bit, probably good news for Trump

Well bye!

nothing conservative about the Koch brothers. They are first and foremost, concerned with their own wealth. They could give a crap about America. The biggest chicken processing plant in Mississippe raided by ICE, was a KOCH facility.

No it wasn’t.

Both brothers are big time open borders supporters and promoters. No loss.

Sounds like a win.

The company was founded in 1973. Until 1985, it was a "one-room" chicken processing outfit with 13 employees, primarily conducting de-boning and cutting. The company began growing with the addition of feed mills and slaughterhouses. Now Koch Foods is an international poultry processor that deals in fresh and frozen offerings. The company does business under the Koch Foods, Antioch Farms, Preferred Foods, and Rogers Royal brands. It also has private label products. The company is a supplier for Burger King, Kroger and Walmart.[2]

Despite similarities in the names and the fact that both were founded by men named Fred Koch, Koch Foods has no relation to Koch Industries or the Koch brothers; their founders are two entirely different people.

For the most part these brothers are libertarian. They just don’t like Trump. I don’t agree with them on that issue.
David funded a lot of good works. Hasbeen

No, but it did extend his life by a considerable number of years. From Fox News: Charles said David Koch's death came 27 years after he was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. At the time, doctors told him he likely only had a few years left to live. “David liked to say that a combination of brilliant doctors, state-of-the-art medications and his own stubbornness kept the cancer at bay," Charles said in the statement. "We can all be grateful that it did, because he was able to touch so many more lives as a result."

Greedy? Perhaps. He did give away a lot of what he earned, so perhaps not as greedy as one might think. Or maybe he was simply ambitious and took advantage of the opportunities that came his way.

As for his being a globalist, that may be true; I did not know the man and certainly don't agree with his and his brother's disdain for Trump and his policies, but being filthy rich doesn't make him a bad person.

Actually, he's not a globalist. He has massively funded conservative-libertarian causes. As far as criticizing him because of his wealthy, that's what Leftists do. Are you a Leftist?

You're a moron if you don't understand the Koch's globalist ideology.

One less Enemy of the People.

Just loved it when they opined how having the government support their underpaid employees through welfare was good for the country.

Good riddance!!
Posted By: Pappy348 Re: David Koch Died - 08/23/19
In the end, it matters not whether the Koch boys are Globalists, or just greedy fuggers that want to use their money to buy policies that make them even richer greedy fuggers, while ordinary Americans bear the impact of unchecked illegal immigration.

Ditto for the Bush Cartel, Romney, Oilcan Slim, Buffet, etc. They hold us all in contempt, though they'd deny it to, anyone outside the "family".

A pox on all of them.

Posted By: sportingspecialist Re: David Koch Died - 08/23/19
I've read that the Koch's gave away 100 million.

What percentage of their wealth does that represent? On tenth of one percent?

They gave their money to organizations that supported their policies of abortion and open borders.Murder American babies, then clamor for open borders, because the Kochs claim there aren't enough American workers.LOL

The more money you have the easier it is to make more money. Some people have a knack for doing this - it is not evil to have such wealth, what do with it is what's important.

All that matters is that they didn't kiss Trump's ass. Therefore, they must be scum.
Posted By: Pappy348 Re: David Koch Died - 08/23/19
I don't expect anyone to kiss The Donald's posterior. I do think that American bazillionaires can afford to set aside their own financial interest just a bit in order to not cause harm to their country and fellow citizens. The Koch Bros appear to look, first, last and foremost at their bottom line. Illegal immigration negatively affects ordinary people, particularly those who work low wage jobs.

Check out the figures just release by the DOJ on the criminal activity of non-citizens.

Just returned from a visit with an old friend near the metropolis of Yeehaw Junction, FL., formerly known as Jackass Junction. Old railway station it was, back in the day when locomotives used steam. Surprised I didn't see Koch there when I stopped this AM for coffee. There were 3 big husky bearded truck driver at a table with an empty chair. The all sported tats on their shoulders that said PLO in 3" letters and a caricature of the PLO shield below. They seemed dispondent.

We once built a Koch brothers oil pipeline up in Minnesota about a decade ago. The Koch employees with whom I had to interface were scared chitless of the Koch brothers culture that they would take a wrong step and lose there job. I formed an opinion about the two Koch brothers right then. No tears in my house today.

Well it's sure been damned good for a LOT of employers in this Country to have the taxpayers help support their employees.
